I recently ordered a Action glove from Pooldawg and had it stolen from me at the pool hall......

So I ordered a replacement from Pooldawg...when it got here there were some loose threads on the bridge pad and it didn't seem to fit quite right. .. I gave a call to Kevin at Pooldawg who after a few questions and verifying that i did order the same size as the one before shipped me a new glove....

No time wasted...quick and friendly customer service and stands behind what they sell even if they didn't make it...

Kudos Pooldawg...

I will be shopping with you again

Rick, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear that Keven got you taken care of.

Prodigy, my apologies about the OB Cue. The issue isn't the cue itself, but rather that Classic shaft. We spoke with our rep over at OB and unfortunately the Classic shaft is on back order for another 4 weeks or so (we typically don't stock the Classic shaft).

Definitely get in touch with any of OB's authorized dealers, as they might have what you're looking for. Best of luck and again, my apologies for the stockout issue.

Mike, tell Keven "The Skunk" sends his regards. How is his game coming along since the three day clinic?

I just ordered a Meucci Black Dot Shaft with a Kamui Black Hard tip from Pool Dawg about two weeks ago. It said please allow up to 3 days for custom work but it shipped out the same day. Will definitely buy from them in the future.

Here's my experience with pooldawg, and a little bit of seyberts:

So I went on pooldawg and ordered a Schon CX-03 along with a predator 314 2 5/16/14 silver ring. The lady on the phone told me that this was the correct shaft so i went with it. Once i recieved the order someone at my work was looking at it and noticed that one of the threads in the wrap was sticking up and I myself noticed that the predator shaft didnt fit quite right at the joint, it was slightly askew meaning it was indented on one side and sticking out a bit on the other side. I ended up sending everything back with the free return label they sent me and after them initially telling me that the shaft looks great, the learned that the 5/16/14 connection isn't quite the same as the schon connection. So what they did was fix(more on that later) the wrap and order a 314 2 schon edition from seyberts.com for me. These shafts have the actual join put on by schon so its a perfect fit. At this point i was a little upset that they gave me the wrong shaft but they purchased the correct one for me which was actually a little more expensive than the one i purchased from them and overnighted me the cue itself back and I ended up getting the cue and the predator the next day. Great service in my opinion. Now after probably 5 days of shooting with it I noticed that the wrap was coming up again and now its about 1 inch of thread completely disconnected from the butt. I ALSO noticed that the shaft was slightly warped. So here we go again. I first called seyberts about the shaft since it came from them and to be honest the woman on the phone treated me like I was scamming them or something. She was like well if you don't like it send it back(at my cost) and we will straighten it out for you. This aint gonna happen, there is no way im spending 240 dollars on a shaft to have it straighted out over a 5-6 day turning process less than 10 days after receiving it. I sent that back yesterday to seyberts and sent them an email stating that I want a replacement or a refund, no repairs. We'll see how that goes.

As far as pooldawg and the wrap on my schon, he initially fought with me just a little stating that the wrap was in good condition when they sent it back to me, it was, and that perhaps something in my case was catching on it. In the end though he did agree to re wrap the cue for me at no charge and they sent me another free return label. They should be receiving it in a day or two.

In the end even though I have had my issues, poodawg has been doing their part to solve them and not giving me any hassle. They defintely are commited to making me happy.

As far as seyberts, I will just have to see how they handle this.

Hey Rick,
Thanks for the nice post, we really appreciate it! I'm happy to hear that you are satisfied with our service!

Prodigy, we do have that OB cue with the standard OB1 shaft which will play just like the classic but features the wooden ferrule. We can ship that out for you right away but I understand if you prefer a phenolic ferrule.

SKUNK! Good to hear from you. My game is definitely improved and getting better thanks to you and the other great instructors with the National Billiards Academy!

Andrew, we will keep an eye out for your Schon and I'll give you a call to figure out whats going on with your shaft.

Keven

Definitely another +1 for pooldawg. They knew who i was by name simply from my situation(although probably a rare one!) and gave me an update on the forums definitely a personal touch there. As far as seyberts goes even though i sent them an email stating i would like a replacement shaft they went ahead and credited pooldawg(they bought the shaft for me) as soon as they got my shaft back. When I did talk to them on the phone the gentleman said they gave me a credit and that i could "do whatever i want". I think the whole situation with seyberts could have been a little easier with a simple replacement. Other than that though they were very prompt with the credit and they did give me an email and a call right away to let me know what happened.

Just noticed this thread on the Dawg - I ordered a shaft from them and 2x the mfg sent the wrong one - Alexis got the right one and I got it nxtday air !! - Pooldawg knows how to treat its customers -

I bought a break cue and a shaft from PoolDawg and got them both in 2 days.
The only complaint I have is when I got the break cue they sent a cool decal that said Pooldawg on it.
When they sent the shaft there was no decal! :(
I had put the decal on my cars back window and in time it got ruined from the sun and rain.
Hey PoolDawg send me a new decal !!!!!!!!!
I do park in the pool room parking lot and the advertising would be free.

Don't forget to mention the cool box of Pooldawg chalk they sent you.
You've been hoarding that chalk for a year and a half, break it out sometime>>

I needed a LD shaft for a custom sneaky I had just bought and did not know where to order it from. I thought maybe I could ask the guys around the pool room in Denver on the rare occasion I get down to Felts.
Well it happened....I got the chance to head down the hill and on the way in I walked past a car and saw an old faded sticker on the window. It was starting to peel and hard to read but it read Pooldawg and a web address.
I ordered the shaft from this Colorado based company and the whole deal was nothing but good:).

I bet that old Pooldawg sticker has come detached by now:groucho:

Thats why I need a new decal. Did you say the decal was old and faded or the cars driver?

Phil the fin gave me a cube of half ground down Balabuska chalk for giving him rides home and I have been using that. I do have about 10 cubes of Pooldawg chalk left.

Well I did meet the cars driver and after several hours of playing close to even with him he hit a gear and left me feeling old and faded.

I want a rematch:)

Just adding my .02....returned a shaft to pooldawg, was quick and easy no hassles
Mariya emailed me and called to see how I wanted refund handled.....2 thumbs up
