Questioned on members labeled banned

Hello All:

I have a question. Recently in viewing the wanted/for sale section, many people have the caption "banned" under their name or "handle". I mean lots of guys. What is this all about?

It means the mods have stopped them from being able to post for some violation or other. Some bans are temporary, some are permanent. Its like back when they suspended you from school for being bad.

Is that your car? Or your dream? Or both?

Several guys have also changed it.themselves.... Kinda as a jab at the mods for some of bans they don't agree with.
 
basically, just because they were banned today, does not mean all of their prior posts are deleted. Thus, most of what they posted prior that was not "horrible" or something, will stay, but just "banned" is under their name, and you know they are unable to repsond to any comments to their prior posts.....but they are indeed gone until they are given the green light to come back...

First thanks for the information. It just seems there is allot more of this in the wanted and for sale section and I did not understand it.

Kevin, as for the car, it was a dream and is now my car, in my driveway. I got it last September. It was my retirement present to me from me, I already had a watch.

A bunch of them are one guy who keeps bumping threads trying to get his post count up past 50, just so he can get back into the Action Room section. You'll probably notice than many are new user IDs with low post counts. Apparently they can't keep him out permanently with an IP address ban. Gotta love the trouble makers and rule breakers.....
