To Hal Houle for seeking me out in Denver and introducing me to aiming systems.

To Freddie Agnir and others for spending time on the table showing what you learned from Hal and being willing to help.

To Dave Segal for being so vocal about what you learned from Hal and demonstrating these methods and helping so many others.

To Stan Shuffett for devoting so much time to understand these methods and learning to teach them. For the effort in making your dvd and your continued efforts to educate others in these great methods.

To Mohrt and Gerry and Duke and everyone who is taking the time to make great videos on these techniques. Thank you for being diligent students and showing off your improved and strong games. You are inspriational to the rest of us.

To Champ and Billy for being such enthusiastic cheerleaders alongside me.

To Ekkes and Ron Vitello for bringing your aiming methods to the world.

To CJ for pioneering ball-to-ball aiming from a professional perspective.

And just a general thanks to all of you who have kept the interest in this area of pool alive. I appreciate all you have done and continue to do. I feel that this is an important part of the game that has in fact been talked about may times throughout history but has somehow always been relegated to the "just comes with hitting balls" category.

I was in that frame of mind when Hal sought me out to present his methods and it woke me up to another side of pool that I took for granted.

So again, thank you Hal Houle for all that you have done. Your legacy will live on and your name will never be forgotten by me.

Long overdue...

Hear, hear!
And a thank you to all the AZ'ers who have been willing and able to keep an open mindset and relevant conversation in the face of the torch and pitchfork carrying multitude regarding what some would call "traditional wisdom".
John, you would be high on that list of people willing to question the norms in a constant search for a better way of doing things.
Count me in as willing until I am no longer able.

Very nice post JB! I agree, evolution described:).

Now that I learnt TOI, or at least getting the feel for it better and better I will look at PRO1, got the DVD when it first arrived but I didn´t get into it.

Thanks you all!

Thanks John for this post!
All the best to Stan. Great performance on his "blind shots"
Unbeliebable that some guys still do not believe...

I want to thank everyone who kept it real. Many of them now departed (banned), or not willing to put themselves in the crosshairs any longer.

Yep, if it weren't for them and you we wouldn't have all the great video proof that we now do.

We now have high level instructors who teach these methods. We have pros who use them and are out of the closet about them.

We have dozens of players reporting on their successes and great amateur video of amateurs beating the ghost and setting new personal bests in 14.1.

I did forget to thank the guys like you. Because of guys like you who have no interest in getting better but for some reason a huge interest in holding others back you have inspired those of us who do want to get better to work even harder to understand and promote these methods.

Sometimes those who will change the world need some opposition to push them along.

So thank you for being so completely negative, so defaming, so insulting all these years. Any aiming system and practitioner who can survive the cloud of negativity you and those like you have laid down emerged stronger and better able to serve the eager students around the world.
