Main Forum = CJ Wiley Forum now?

Just got back from Houston.

I keep hearing people talk about how they are concerned that CJ is going to get scared off of azbilliards.

It is not even in the realm of possibility until well after he has thoroughly promoted his Earl Strickland documentary.

Can't wait! Geterdone!

Just got back from Houston. Saw some old friends like Francisco Bustemante, Warren C. James Waldon, Richie R. Cliff J. Justin Hall, TopWater, and all the Houston players. They do like to gamble in Houston, it's one of the last big action cities left......priceless......

I even got some "action", imagine that. ;) Glad to be back though, I have a TOI BANKING video to compete asap. and I got the "missing piece" from one of my favorite players.....btw - Great shooting to James Waldon, who won the main event in dominant fashion, that was nice to see, James is a "jam up" player and personality. imho

get down, and deliver every shot as if it's already been made

I liked the part where he hit the ball against the other ball and it went in the hole.

This is the "ultimate aiming system," get down, and deliver every shot as if it's already been made, Luther, you'll go far with that attitude in life, and pool.

attitude is 90% of success

Hey thanks CJ!!! This to me is the equivalent of a Catholic mother having her baby kissed by the Pope.

I'm ready for any challenge now.

If you could see me in this moment I'd look basically like this:

It's the least that could be done, Luther, the moral of the story is - attitude is 90% of success in life and "most worthwhile" things. You could have the best "Game" in the world, and one negative thought could alter the cue ball from it's designated course. Keep smiling my friend - 'The Game is the Teacher' ;)

OMG CJ you are sooooooooooo right about that.

My pool skills are a million miles away from yours, but still I can usually hold my own in a tournament a bit better than I did on Sunday. I was missing shots that my grandmother could make (and hell she's no longer even alive). I think there's a good chance that it was because of subconscious nagging thoughts about my stressaholic girlfriend. Anyway, please accept a high-five from across the pond.

James, knocking off the rust after a long sabbatical. Nice to hear. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

What is ETA for TOI BANKING video?

It is soooooooooooooooooo right.

I finished 1st. in my in house individual money league & lost the first round match to the 8th seed. The whole group is close but I should have beat him. Instead I beat myself. I did not play badly but I & my speed was off just enough to not win. I was not happy with table assignment, was aggrivated by the traveling league teams, etc. I beat myself & I should certainly know better & I do. I tried to get in focus & came close but it was a bit too late & I was still off just enough.

When I am playing poorly I often say, 'I would not play my mother for a plug nickel...& she's dead.'

Let's just hope that there is only one way to go & it is ......up.

Regards,

What is ETA for TOI BANKING video?[/QUOTE]

I started filming the TOI Banking video last week, and then had some people fly in for lessons, so we're starting back tonight. It will take another couple days of filming, then the post production will take a week or so....so 2 to 3 weeks for completion.

Yes, James Walden looked very good on the "bar rag" last weekend. It's brutal that they're now playing races to 7 in bar table tournaments. We used to think races to 11 was right on the cusp of being too short. It was rack your own and I didn't even notice if it was winner breaks or not. They also had one pocket and bank pool tournaments going on, as well as a Seniors event that Jose Parica proablably won, and a ladies event.

It was in a really nice pool room "Big Tymes" just north of Houston and they kept it open 24 Hours a day which was really nice. Also as Bogies they had a WPBA regional tournament going on as well....so there was a lot of pool activity in Houston, something for everyone.

"TOI Lock"...hmmm, sound like a winner.

What is the "World Famous Lock Society"? I see reference to it all the time on here, just don't really know, is it a mystical secret society?
