The question should be how not to get there in the first place
I use enough speed to make sure I get the CB at back past the side pocket. It is very tough to hit that ball square but on my good days and I am really in stroke I like my chances JMOOr, allow me to ask - do you hit this double kiss shot with enough speed to take a decent table's possible roll-off away?

Interesting... So you'd hit it with some speed.
Ok, there's like 800 youtubes of pros playing matches. Are there any examples of how someone handled this extreme situation? I can't recall any to this extreme.
You can 4 rail it into the corner with about a 50/50 chance with a lot of practice on it. I knew one guy that would bet $50 a shot on cutting it in the corner. You can also 3 rail it back into the other corner.

I think I would like the guy that would prop bet it... I would go off be good for a benjamin trying my chances shooting it with him... I think I'd be 50/50 cold but I have been delusional a few times before so I think I'll have to try it out a few times tomorrow...
Need the therapy of the pool table to clear my mind...
We all know everyone is going to die but when they put a expiration date in front of you for a family member that is measured in days it sucks balls... And I'm not talking about the good aramith ones.....

If both balls are on the rail, the double kiss shot will not work. The top spin combined with the speed will kill the cue ball in the middle of the table. (To be effective, you have to hit center or below for the cueball to run) I agree with the agressive approach. Take the long bank to the side you are most comfortable and play the speed whereby if you miss, the object ball stops just short of the side and cueball on opposite long rail.
I would aim to hit half the 9 at mach 7 or maybe even mach 8 and play all 6 pockets and maybe even a few more pockets on nearby tables. I'm not even joking.
