What is "the hotseat match"?

I keep seeing it referred to, but never in a context in which I can figure out which match it is in a tournament.

Thanks from the dumb newbie.

Hotseat match is the last match on the winners side of a bracket. It means that the winner will be the only undefeated player and will have to wait for someone to come out of the other side of the bracket. He is in the hotseat.

Why isn't there an azbilliards app yet with all of this info?

hotseat, nit, nuts, heart, poolkiller rules, hits a ton, good action list lookup, pool room locations that are actually open and have not been a medical office for the last 5 years.

Um, yea, so can you go ahead and describe what those mean. I am new to the pool scene as well and don't know what most of those are. When I got into poker years back it took me for ever to try and figure out what all the termonology was. Wish I would have just asked back then.

I don't know about an app(although an az app would be great), but a beginner thread that contains a lot of this kind of info would be awesome. Start with what OB and CB are and work your way forward. Describe the different types of cues. Etc...

Since we are asking questions we might think are dumb....

What " dimes" or "geese" stand for ? 100, 1000 ?
