2003 Zylr, Olivewod forearm with curly maple handle, buckhorn buttcap, buckhorn shaft collars. 2 shafts.

third shaft made for it by Eric Crisp of Sugar Tree cues. This is an old growth maple shaft with a rare old yellow micarta and a propriety Korean leather tip.

Wt: 19.2 to 19.6 oz. depending on shafts
Length: 59 inches. 60 inches with the SugarTree shaft
Shafts: 12.2mm (Kamui med tip, Ivory-X ferrule, played), 12.5mm (Kamui med tip, Ivory-X ferrule, like new) and 12.6mm (SugarTree shaft, old yellow micarta ferrule, like new)
Joint: Buckhorn with 3/8X11 pin

let me think about this jazz. i love that olivewood.
 
yup, that olive would is pretty nice. under a G with the thrid shaft. Not a bad deal. If I had the money I would consider it myself.

Side note, a few years ago Zyrl cues were the in thing and everyone had to have one, I hear a lot less about them now or is that just a wrong preception? How is the hit on his cues?

You don't hear about them because no one sells them once they get one. I bought one here recently and it was one of the best hitting cues I have owned, however it was 59" in length which I could not get get used to so I ended up trading the cue. The hit was very crisp and the fit and finish of the cue was excellent.

people seem to be holding on to them. from what i hear his cues produce a stiff crisp hit.

Olivewood is very rare. I've only seen one other Zylr with Olivewood forearm.

59" is standard with Zylr.

My cue is still available as original poster passed on the cue. Good luck with your search.
