Cant tell

I cant tell. The lighting may be screwing with it, but it looks too dark brown to be the original Kamui, and not black enough to be the Kamui black. The fibers sticking out also make it seem to not be a Kamui..? I didnt vote, because I cant tell with the lighting in the pics... Good looking:thumbup: install though!

That's weird second option is leading. NOT a Kamui Clear? Waaaait, what could it be then? It's a black tip with transparent pad after all, isn't it?
 
I've installed lots of Kamui tips, and have seen a few of the new clear ones both installed, and not. Just doesn't look like one to me... Still looks like a good install, not knockin it in any way..

That's a CD by the way ;)

As for how to tell the difference, I agree layers are more distinctive than that of Kamui, and probably the pad is also thicker.
