Hey guys first off thanks for the help...ok now to it.

I just had a table re clothed 9ft gold crown iv with simonis 860 tournament blue and I notice by one of the corner pockets when I run my hand over the table I can feel a slight raised pattern.

It feels almost like a piece of thread trapped between the table and cloth. It doesn't seem to affect the way the table plays, but it is annoying when I feel it. Is this something normal and will eventually go away or is this a bigger issue...

It is not normal, and is probably exactly what you said, a string caught under the bed cloth. The only way to get it out would be to get the rails off and take a look. You might luck out and be able to grab the end of the string and pull it out, otherwise, you will have to pull the cloth and get the string out.

There most likley is a thread under the cloth, it happens. I would call my mechanic back, it's a lot of work just to fetch a thread. Been there done that:angry:

If it's real close to the corner you may be able to retrieve it by just unstapling the cloth at the pocket. Shouldn't be a big job then. I like the pin idea though.
