Pool Hall on Bar Rescue

Bar Rescue is a show where a bar consultant goes into struggling bars and shows them what they are doing wrong.

Tonight's episode is new, and takes place at a Denver pool hall.

It will be interesting to see if there are some good ideas that all pool halls could utilize (I suspect there will be.)

I sometimes watch the show, but tonight I'll be watching for sure.

The show will be on SpikeTV at 10PM Eastern.

Kill me now

Made me want to shoot myself in the head. The big fix was he had to be convinced to charge for pool time. WOW! And second big fix was to stop giving booze away. Staged for TV. Real pool room owner would be charging too much for time and have $8 bud light bottles. LOL

Saw it ... Wasn't so much of a pool hall but seemed like a great night club.

Well maybe not completely staged. When I lived in Colorado, I went there a few times to play pool, mostly while on dates in the area and it was very much like was shown on the show. The owner is a character and a half, but not to his benefit as a business man. This was never a serious "pool hall" from what I've known of the place. It was more of a club/bar with a few poorly maintained pool tables.

Good shooting to you,
Kevin

It was a Bar with Pool Tables, and not a Pool Bar. It was in the Booze Business, and Booze Sales was going to make it or break it. Not Pool Table Time IMHO.
