Photo Challenge, Attention JAM and others

No. 2: Two players who are cue-makers and played against each other in New York. Picture courtesy of NYGrind.

The one on the left is a better all-round player...by a bit.
The one on the right is a better cue-maker...by a bit.

Which one is Jimmy Reid and Reed Pierce? I can't see them.

You said 8; I needed 2 more. 1 - I thought Jimmy would be in the crowd and 2 - since the tourney was held in Reid's back yard........one of those youngsters could've been him.

That photo was taken at the 2011 Maryland State 14.1 Tournament held at Big Daddy's in Glen Burnie, MD. By the way Mike Sigel is leaving Champions Billiards in Frederick, Maryland tomorrow and heading to the Charolette, N.C. area. Spent 2 hours with him yesterday and Mike was helping a buddy and me with patterns and break shots while we were playing straight pool. Mike has always been a great help to me in the 2+ years he was house pro (Free Help) and he still plays great. Mike said he will most likely start making high end cues and may open a pool room with a friend. Sad to see Mike leave.

Sorry for ya. Good for us a little further down south though :D I always liked watching Mike play. He made it entertaining to watch pool while running out on ya. Most are boring robots...
Nobody wanted to much of Mike in the 80s, at about any game.

Almost.. I wanted a picture of them on the table playing :p

I'll give you partial credit for that.

JAMMIE, pretty sporty and fast. with this contest you had winner winner chicken dinner real fast, OH wait you gold people dont eat chicken, please forgive me.:sorry::sorry:

Hey not so fast there, the cuemakers playing each other was for a picture of them playing. And I don't see the third one with a tournament winner and the guy that won that money (said guy to have gotten knocked out earlier).

I'm up like a rooster this morning due to work obligations. They say all work and no play makes one a dull person. Well, yesterday, thanks to this forum's new software, it was all play and little work, meaning I have to pay the piper today.

Deadlines looming. My fingers will be soaring at 150-plus words per minute with few breaks. :(

Wish I could play on AzBilliards all day, like yesterday. :grin-square:

Meanwhile, Fatboy is still silver. We in the Gold Club see things beyond his gaze, poor fellow.

Brian Atchley also played in this tournament, he was late and didn't get in the photo, he placed 2nd, and Country Calvin won it, he's top row on left 2nd person in dark shirt.

Finished one job and now moving on to job number two for today. Yuck! Boring, boring, boring. Not as much fun as being gold on AzBilliards. :p

Oh, you're still silver? I remember when I used to be silver. It's not so bad. Of course, you don't get to the VIP Lounge being silver. We had a blast last night. You missed it. Best time ever! I drank a little too many cappies, though. Had trouble sleeping. :o

Tonight, they're flying in fresh crawfish from Louisiana. I can't wait! :happydance::happydance::happydance:
