You made a nice job of it. My vice I made as an apprentice went mysteriously missing via the postal service.Money does not replace sentamental value.
The interesting thing about threads , is depending on the combination, it can be used as a reduction in movement or as an over geared movement like in your case.
I have recently seen a thread, that looks like a knurl pattern cut both left and right hand. It can assemble either LH or RH and is made to be in a glued assembly. 1 item to fit both ends of the assembly.Looked neat but no pics allowed sorry.
