Female/Players Thread/Nuggets

I can see your viewpoint and I believe you do feel this way, but some -- not all -- male members on this forum speak to the female members as if they are beneath them, trash, to include calling them vulgar names. It is as if the females cannot voice any opinion, and when they do, it's called "hijacking threads," "playing the victim," et cetera. In my own case, when all else fails, they go after Keith and start ripping him apart in words.

When a female voices their discontent on AzBilliards, a band of men come forth to trash her. It's not just me. I've seen it on other threads with other lady members of this forum who express their opinions.

This forum is, in a way, representative of the reason why it's a male-oriented sport. It took women many years to get the vote, but when it comes to pool, women will never be treated equally. They are, indeed, discriminated against from doing the very same things their male counterparts do in the pool room. How dare she be good!

I have not posted once this morning in the thread about Corey and Hennessee that I've been accused of derailing, but check out how many of the people who accused me of hijacking that thread have posted this morning in the thread. The very ones who accused me of it are still at it, doing *exactly* what they accused me of. I rest my case.

I would like your opinion on handicapped tournaments where women get a spot from all men in the tournament. Even if the woman plays better than her opponent she still gets the spot. I have never heard one of the women say I would prefer to play the men even because I don't want to be discriminated against. She says well I am a woman so I deserve a spot. So is this a situation where women are in the wrong for wanting/getting a spot that they don't need?

All this is just standard inet "flame war"/troll stuff...r.s.b. was a flame war haven when last I checked in 2008 or so...then there's Jimbo's Army etc. and how that came about...OK so the topic may be different this time...but IMHO it's just all standard stuff for open forums on the inet these days...and I doubt it'll ever change or go away....

i KNOW :deadhorse:

Some women seek it all. They want to be independent and strong, equal to or better than a man. Yet often when it suits them, they will retract back to being the protected class or play the victim.

If you didn't care for that little Asian hottie in the avatar I can only imagine your reaction to the "women get no respect" video clip I am now reminded of. Can't post it here though cuz it really is porn.

You probably don't have a daughter, do you?

None of the Lady CEOs or GMs that I've seen are like that...(and I know/have worked for and with a number of them)...in fact they realize they have to up their game to compete in a man's world, and they do....

CEO's and GM's are the few. I describe the many.

Two league players are walking out of the pool room complaining about the bad rolls and unfair handicaps and they get hit by a truck and die.

Up at the pearly gates St. Peter says, "we made a mistake, it is not your time. Your bodies are gone so we cannot send you back as you were. You can choose to be anyone you want but you still have to live a virtuous life and earn your place in heaven."

The first guy says I want to be a pro football quarterback. St. Peter says "done but you must remember that this is a life of temptation."

The second guy says, "I want to be a lesbian." The first guy says, "a lesbian, WHY would you want to be a lesbian?"

Second guy says, "because if I am a lesbian I can get all the women I want and I can get the five out in the thursday tournament."

By doing so she emerged victorious in the prestigious Okie Noodling Tournament, having caught the largest catfish in the event’s 14-year history.

Millsap beat a field of about 200 participants, mostly men, including her father, Jimmy, who finished second with a 67.4-pound catfish.

Said Lucy: “Women don’t think they can do a lot of stuff. And you get a lot of trash talk from the guys. I’m proud to justify the name ‘Bare Knuckle Babes.’

Wow, all those copies and pastes, and some of them from me - I'm proud. Now the question is, what is the common thread of your chosen quotes? Are they the ones you felt were outlandish or stupid, or were they the ones you agreed with, or were they a compilation of both? In other words, whose side are you on? I need to know, because I refuse to continue to talk with you if you are not on my side. I want everyone to be one my side, male and female alike. I want to be loved - by all. Why? Because humor is my bag.

Das why,

Jenny;

Who am I to point fingers though, I've been running with the big cock avatar for six years.

best,
brian kc

LOL. At first I thought you were kidding about the big cock avatar. Then I looked at your avatar and saw the big cock. Avatar, now there's a word I think maybe this is the first time I've ever used it in a sentence. An actual cock in full throb mode would be just as funny. Anyway, without knowing if you were kidding or not, a slight lol emerged and I want to thank you and your big cock for that, Mr. Man.
