My new spindle and VFD

Got the air-cooled model setup today.
Cuts purdy good.
I'm getting another one and mount it on the toolpost for more work.
 
Anyone had a chance to check the run out on these? I have been looking at these for a while for inlay work if anyone has any input.

The inner spindle taper on the one I have measured was quite good , the collet that came with it was not that good. I have forgotten the runout numbers of the spindle taper, but must have been better than .01mm or I would have remembered that it was a bad one.The collet with a test piece was something like .02 or .03mm TIR at the collet face and I think was .04mm or so on the end of the cutter about 40 mm out from the collet.
I know he got some new collets that were a lot better and is very happy with it. You can not see any run out looking at it.

Thanks Neil. I should have waited till in the morning before I read that when I might be more awake. I seen the .01 and thought, wow that is terrible! Then I seen it was .01mm, :)
