So where is the Bonus Ball annoucement?

There was a great thread on here awhile back detailing the reasons why BB or any other pool game will never make it on the sportsbooks of Vegas.
It was fairly in depth and had some good information IMO. Way too lazy to search for it and it possibly was purged as some of those threads were but it was good info and convinced me that the idea of being able to walk into a vegas casino and bet on a BB match is nothing but a fantasy.
I just love when people post thoughts with no basis because it sounds good.
Do you think that Donald Trump has the right connections in Vega$ ?? --- he built a hotel and they still won't give him a casino license.
Only about 10% of those who watch FREE stream will actually buy a PPV.
AND this number is based on those who love the game.
BB is betting on a completely new audience who could care less about pool !?

(because similarly to USA, it wouldn't mean much to say 'I've been to America' unless you specified which regions as they differ greatly)

i actually had a BB Player say right to my face in all sincerity that Caesars "is already making a line on Bonus Ball". He sounded like Trudeau-he really did. I didnt believe him for a millisecond but he did or he is a great liar. Perhaps Caesars made an over under on how long it would be around ? Maybe that was the confusion.

AZ HousePro posted a link to an article on the front page. BB got a major sponsor and parlayed that into a TV contract. Charlie Sheen dropped 2 mill and we're gonna be on the Playboy channel. Yup, that's the scoop.
There was a recap of Week six released to AZ and published.
Word on the street is the PR people are expecting was pushed back. Who knows what they will decide to do ?
If any good comes of this cluster f*, I hope it is that people realize that a new game is not needed, but something like the team format could work. I think Team 8-ball would work at the pro level (tv) and would be successful in an apa banger type of league. I also like the way they cut the pockets, I hope that catches on.
And for a little rant -I don't get how the people at bonus ball can say we(avg. pool players who visit azbilliards) are not the target audience yet post weekly updates here- where else do they post? They stated that orange/purple/black balls are used because of market research and video analysis of how the colors look on the screen - when in reality you can't tell the purple from the black and it comes out in another post that the main guy behind bb dresses in orange/purple all the time and are his favorite colors(great business decision there!) I feel bad for the pros who fell for this crap. I hope it motivates them to work with real professional pool promoters like Mark, Justin, CJ, Alan, Charlie, Mike z,etc and find a way to work together to make pool more popular and financially beneficial for everyone involved.
