Man, I have no luck. When I watch Accu-Stats on my piece of garbage Samsung Smart TV, the Audiovideoweb.com broadcast comes in just fine.

I'm assuming it's because it is shown in the windows media format.

But it seems that TAR broadcasts via audiovideoweb.com using flash.

My piece of shit Samsung only supports flash up to version 10 and Samsung says it can't be upgraded.

Anyone else have this issue and have found any work around. Nothing is easy

Get a 2011 or newer mac and an appleTV. Those samsung smart TVs suck. I have one of their top of the line units and it's worthless as a web browser.
 
You think you got screwed I bought the broadcast and was watching great and then a storm came through and knocked out the power until 6 this morning. I saw two matches and then just sat in the dark.

Say, guys ... I'm wondering if anyone with one of these Samsung Smart TVs can view the TAR PPV.

If so, would you mind posting your model number. I need to get to the bottom of this.

You would think the message would be Flash vers XX.X not supported, but no, mine says your browser appears to have a pop up blocker installed.

I specifically went to the tools menu and webpage setup and disabled both the pop up blocker and the ad blocker. Still nothing.... (hey at least your power went back on) :)
 
No familiarity with smart TV's, but I have some ideas.

1. it may be something about the popup blocker. I know on chrome, I must manually click the link
that says "Click here if the popup window doesn't appear" whereas firefox lets it come up automatically.

I assume you already clicked that "click here" link and it still didn't work.
So another thought is maybe you could manually type the link into the browser.
That would be a huge pain but it might work since it's not trying to pop up the video,
it's just directly going to the video. The link I mean would look something like:

http://interface.audiovideoweb.com/ci/ppv/ldflswrap/7c3flslive1125/[long string of numbers]?width=640&height=360&bgcolor=0xffffff#

I got it by right clicking the "click here" link and copying the link address, dunno if the smart TV can do that?

2. weird longshot: If manually typing the link doesn't work, maybe you can put the link for the streaming video into
your own small HTM file, which is just a text file with website code inside of it. I could whip it up if you can get me
the http://interface.audiovideo[etc.] link above. Does the smart TV let you open files save on a flash drive?
Can you open saved web pages that way?

3. Supposedly they have made a smartTV "upgrade kit". However I can't promise this upgrades
your flash player. And it costs money.

4. If you own a laptop with an HDMI output, you can watch on the laptop and then output your whole
screen to the TV via an HDMI cable.

Even if it doesn't have HDMI output, you can still output to the TV using a different kind of cable.
Almost any laptop will have a plug for either S-video or VGA

5. If you don't own a laptop but have a desktop computer physically near the TV,
you can hook that up to the TV instead: http://hookpctotv.com/desktop-hd

You can also hook up your phone to the TV if the phone plays TAR ok.

6. You can buy one of these streaming boxes (roku maybe?) to use with the TV.

Thanks for the info! I really do appreciate the time you took to help. I'm going to look into a few of these options. I don't think I can copy and save to or from flash drives on this thing.

I do have a laptop and I've considered setting it up to stream into a free HDMI port on the TV.

The strangest thing in my mind is that while Accu-stats uses the same viewer and it shows up just fine, you would think if it is a "'flash" issue, that at least the audiovideoweb viewer window would pop up on my screen and then, if the codec wasn't supported, I'd only see a blank screen within it, but I can't even get past the screen that suggests I have a pop up blocker installed. That's telling me that the TV hasn't had the chance to reject the codec yet since the viewer hasn't begun showing it.
