looking for a something appropriate for a breast cancer donation cue,
to be scrimshawed into an ivory buttcap

this perhaps? the pink ribbon
just that only or with something else just to be different?
just looking for some ideas
pre-lim sketch of the cue attached

This is the National Breast Cancer Foundation emblem. Having the pattern scrimmed around the buttcap would look nice.

The pink ribbon is the most well known symbol for breast cancer. I would include it.

Maybe to the ribbon on one side and the National Breast Cancer Foundation emblem on the other side.

You know me, less is more, and I recommend keeping it simple.

I'll donate a cuecase to follow the cue... Let me know details of the cue so I can design the case!

whats the deadline on the cues? I have a few ideas....just no time. Also have some stabilized holly and curly pink ivory that i could atleast donate if someone building a cue for this needs it

Do you ever stop giving your cases away??? I've seen more cue cases given out by this guy for good causes, and likes on face book in just the last 6 months than I've seen almost ANYONE do on this site.

the holly would be awesome jakester, i could definitley use it.

let me clarify now before folks get the wrong impression

this isnt another chris byrne type breast cancer benefit submit a cue thingy

this cue is for another cuemaker that's selling out his shop

as part of the deal of me helping him with that,
and me getting first dibs on all his goodies at blue light special prices,;) i'm building him this cue.
and finishing up a couple he had in progress

this cue is his to do whatever he wants with.

the PLAN, the plan that he & i discussed, is for him to donate it next june to an organization that his wife is involved with

i do not know any more details than that

Personally, I think the ribbon is too big in that last one...

I don't know if you can do an inlay inside the holly butterfly splice, but I like the looks of this personally:
