Titlist conversion

Years ago you could pick up a titlist and get it converted for nearly nothing.
Now titlists sell for stupid amount of money, they are usually pretty rough and not very big in diameter.
That being said, a lot get converted by cue makers that are not desirable, so after spending quite a bit on getting it converted, and then you want to sell it, it is a tough sell, and a money loser.
My advice would be to only consider a top cuemaker for the conversion. IMO, that was Schick, but I don't think he is doing them anymore. Maybe try Gina, or other top makers.
If you don't want to do that, then go with the second option, where you try to get it converted cheap. While that will result in a money loser, if you don't have a ton in it, your loses will be minimal.
IMO, the market for titlist conversions has really dropped out, because there are tons of them out there.
I have also thought because EVERYBODY wants to get one converted, it would be neat if you have any is to NOT have them converted at least for a while.
