Appleton has just broke the record by shooting a 175 and he's still at the table vs Busty.

WOW!

History baby! 200 and out.

I'm not sure how I feel about Francisco conceding and then wacking the rack (after Darren made the 200 and a couple more). At that point, Darren was taking flyers, so Francisco putting an end to it actually allowed Darren to walk away without missing that last very missable shot (9' thin cut).

Freddie <~~~ congratulations DAZ!!!!

he was continuing to shoot, half-heartedly, made a few more banging at em, and Busty walked over with a big smile and flung the remaining balls every whichaway. :p

That was fun!

Congrats Darren!

Daz kept shooting, got to 204 and Bustie walks up to the table and rakes 'em and laughs!

too funny

Man oh man, with the exception of one tough break position, the rest were all textbook. Crazy good shooting. WAY TO GO DAZ!

Now can ya do it again please? Cause if you do, and it's the finals, you could go to 1000!

Hey, wait a sec, what if he makes his first shot next match, does the run continue???

Am I the only one who thinks that wasN'T hilarious?

I wouldn't say it was hilarious, but not the worst thing in the world.

With the way Daz was one stroking everything, it was pretty obvious he had no intent on truly continuing. Especially with the finals right around the corner.

What is Daz's personal high run? Maybe he was trying to extend it, or he was hoping to break it. Either way, it shouldn't be Busti's decision to end it.

It was impossible for the tournament to let him keep going. He's got Toasty in 1.5 hours.

Now if he does 200 and out in the finals vs Toasty, will he keep going? I doubt it...

in TX, we'd be running from the law, cause he would have had a cue wrapped around his neck.

Darren was done with the run according to his body language, and as was previously pointed out, daz was banging them in.

Had he continued with a serious demeanor, Busty would never have interfered.

It was over and Busty simply let off some steam (in a totally friendly way) after sitting in his char for Darren's record 200. :)

no controversy here.

Not sure about his high run, but like I said, it was very obvious he wasn't trying to break it (if he hadn't already).

Also, this was not the place or the venue to go for it, when the finals are coming up.

With that being, I agree it shouldn't be Bustamante's decision. Right or wrong, however, I think everyone knows he didn't do it out of spite.

Given the way Darren was half-heartedly pocketing the balls at the end, he really had no desire to continue the run. He's got a finals match to get mentally prepared for, so I have no problem with Busty slapping the balls on the table to end the run.

Appleton was done w/ the run - he was slapping at balls. Busty did nothing wrong.

That said...

Daz is a ball pocketing machine. You talk about cool, calm, and collected. I can't wait for the next match. Thanks Inside Pool. You guys are the best.
