Efren, Marlon Manalo, Carlo Biado and another Pinoy made it to the final 64. Let us see if Leevan and Django can make it too. Yesterday, they were dropping like flies.

All 4 Dutch contestants made it to the last 64!

Niels Feijen
Nick van den Berg
Huidji See
Ivo Aarts

That last name is probably new for you, but one hell of a player. In a tournament where Nick and Niels where also playing Ivo Aarts was in a tight game. He made a long jump shot and snookered himself and again made a nice jumpshot. I didnt knew him well, seeing him execute these shots under pressure was impressive. He doesnt look very impressive though, a bit of a chubby boy and can even have a bit of a dull look from the eyes.. those are the heroes I like best! :)

The Pinoys are 7 out of 7 so far in these do-or-die matches, with 3 more waiting in the wings. They have 11 players that are through to the last 64, could be 14 at the end of the day...

Didn't SJM's post state that Thorsten and Busti were playing a win-or-go-home match, and the other post says Thorsten is in the final 64?

Their live scoring site was way out of whack earlier. It says Busti was on the hill (8-5), then in a flash the winner was Thorsten Hohmann???

Django's out, he's the lone Pinoy casualty so far...

BTW pareng O, do you know if Gabica, Gallego and Rota are indeed representing Qatar?

The official site shows a PI flag beside their respective names, so I say they don't. Don't be mislead by articles/news that says so...
