Here is a Jericho Stinger for sale for a steal price of $PF I can't break consistently with a phenolic tip for some reason, so I am selling this for 200, or looking to trade for a different jump break with a hard leather tip.

Here are some pictures.

Butt almost ~14oz
Shaft ~4.3oz
Tip 14mm

The measurements are from the person in which I purchased the cue from.

The shaft has the slightest roll in it, nothing that hinders play at all. Tip never leaves the table together or apart.

I'm interested in purchasing a Jerico J/B, but I really wanted the SS shaft. I don't suppose there's an easy way to get an SS shaft?

Im not sure on how to get am SS shaft. This cue is awesome and in great shape. I just can't get used to breaking with a phenolic tip.

Back to hard leather for me once I get this guy sold.

Can you remind me of the difference between the standard shaft and the SS, please?

Hey ScottK. I don't really know for sure, the only thing I can find online was this:

"After 5 years of rave reviews of the Stinger, we've found a way to raise its performance to yet another level. Through an extension of our proprietary patented Stinger tip/ferrule technology, we have raised the bar again. All 2008 Stingers feature this upgrade. Look for an SS symbol on the shaft along with the Stinger logo. Pricing is unchanged."

I've only had experience breaking/jumping with the SS shaft, so I'm not an expert on what makes it better/worse. Hope that helps!

I put a McDermott I-1 Big Boy on my Jerico stinger. McDermott matched the joint and shaft and the fit is better that the original. Hit's a ton easy to jump with hard leather tip (samsara super hard) stock.

The stinger looks great in ebony. Change out the shaft and you'll probably fall in love with it. Good luck with the sale. Cue looks like it's in great shape.

It does. Thank you, sir.

Hey guys (former owner of this cue). Tip is 14mm. Also, the ferrule and tip was upgraded by Jerry Powers when sent to him. As a result it has the regular logo at the bottom of the shaft, but newer ferrule-tip. Seriously, you won't be disappointed with this cue!
