I'm against transgendered individuals competing under their new gender identity in sports. I have nothing against them but it's simply not fair. Even if you pump them full of hormones there are tons of differences between the sexes and no doctor is going to be able to tell you when it's a level playing field, even though some try. Pool might be a bit different because it's not very athletic but I still don't like the idea.

When you're dealing with intersex individuals, or chromosomal disorders, things can get a bit fuzzy though. By-the-way Fallon Fox should be banned from MMA for life. She didn't tell anyone she was transgendered until after she bashed a few women's heads in, if I recall correctly.

Best thread ever

I would love to see Mike Massey play Mike Davis in the Womens U.S. Open final.
What a visual.... Both in knee high skirts, sleeveless top, dream catcher ear rings..way to much of that red makeup on their cheeks ( Clownlike)
Getting pedicures together the day before, both with a new perm hairdo.
They would need a new aiming system (to pee)
Jason Hunt finishes third....Always the bridesmaid

There is nothing stopping them.

Actually there was a transexual in California in the mid-90s that played in several regional WPBA events and I believe she played in a couple of pro events. There was some controversy at the time, but she was allowed to play. Her name is Lauren Ward.
She won the APA Womens Singles Championship in 2000. Ironically, the APA ended the womens event that very year and combined men and women based solely on their handicap. Coincidence?

I would bet that a lot of males who identify as a woman would love to be able to give birth. And I am sure most women would be happy if men could do it and they didn't have to. :-)

Wanting something doesn't mean its possible or real or fair. I really want to win the lottery. I feel like and identify with being a lottery winner. I think I'm now entitled to have millions of dollars given to me.

This isn't about feelings JB its about female athletes and this affects their livelihood and income. Don't you think youd feel cheated if you were a woman and were playing in a womans championship and came runner up to a man?

Not completely sure how I feel about the transgender topic. But as far as men playing in womens events. You can't have it both ways, either have mens and womens events, or open period. If there is an open mens event (I remember it happening a few years back in golf) and a woman demands to play in it and the public forces the issue, then men should be also allowed to play in the womens events (if they are good enough to play in them).

People want a double standard. If you truly beleive in equal rights, then woman should be allowed to try out and play in any and all sports (with in wieght catagories I think), but that goes the other way too.

Silicon implants are not real breasts. It's impossible.

Saline are safer and just as fun to play with. Textured, tear-drop, under the muscle are the closest you'll get to nature's work. As far as not being "real", breast cancer survivors might raise an eyebrow.

There is a major difference - ability. You don't have the ability to win the lottery, you can feel like a lottery winner but you cannot magically make 10 million appear in your bank account.

A male however has the ability to transform into a socially and legally acceptable woman. And as technology invents more and more bioengineering it may well become possible for men to go through pregnancy. When that happens I predict that many transgender women with the means will opt to do so.

A man made bag full of fluid is not a breast. A breast is made of human flesh, glands, blood, vasculature and fat. It may look like one but its not real.

An inverted penis is not a vagina. Its an inverted penis made to resemble a vagina.

If I draw a picture of a woman its a piece of paper with a picture of a woman on it. Its not a real woman.

Feelings have nothing to do with what something is or isnt. Its impossible.

They don't have the ability to change into a woman. A few hormones and mutilated body parts doesn't make you a woman. Its in every cell of your body. Its still a man with mutilated body parts popping synthetic drugs to appear to be a woman.
This isn't fully socially or legally acceptable everywhere.

The ability for a man to change every one of his chromosomes is impossible.

Unless you've had a mastectomy all of the tissues are still there. The only time you're feeling the implant itself is if you choose to go the cheaper route and have them over the muscle and try to go several sizes larger than you should. For some women it's their only option.

I try not judge people by what's on the outside for the most part. Except for the guy in my bathroom mirror, he's fugly and I don't care if he's smart or nice, or sugar and spice; children's night-terrors are made from the sight of stuff like that.

Should transsexuals be allowed to play women's sporting events?
Boxing, tennis, MMA, archery, swimming, riffle shooting, pool?

If yes, At what point is the transition is this ok? When they feel like a woman (say someone like jason hunt decided he feels like a woman one day and wants to clean up in ladies tournies) When they start taking hormones? When they get there penis taken off and have a vagina built?

As far as pool , there is no reason why men and women and men cant compete in the same tourneys... Pool requires very little physical power to play...

its no different then darts........

What percentage of pool is mental to you? Even our brains are built different.

It's not possible to change a man 100 percent into a woman. Silicon implants are not real breasts. It's impossible.

They're not even real on an otherwise real woman. IMO.

Let's get real here....:D

But won't you agree that a woman is a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke? :)

Oh so now your brain in different.......thats a good one.......I suppose men and women cant compete in poker either?? Thats just mental...... So you mean to tell me you need seperate poker tourney's too??

I don't pretend to know what "we" "need", but are you saying that men and women are not wired differently? Of course we are.

Are you saying our brains aren't different?

Do you think if women put together a female poker tourney that men should be allowed to play?

Give me an example of a mens pool tourney? There are none. They are all open or womens.

Why even have genders then? If men and women are the same to you then go and have sex with a man.
