There is an elephant in the proverbial room. It affects players and people who could be mislead or misinformed (noticed it can be bad information)

Lots and lots of threads allude to it, messages are passed, jokes started, questions raised.

On all of the threads where the issue was "raised" there were no posts from any of the parties who could confirm or deny this. Although there have been people who claim to know of a person's past, no answers have been provided as to the main question which is the crux of all these threads.

We all know what this is about, so does anyone have a concrete answer to the question at hand from all these threads?

I think if an answer is provided, all the jokes, pokes, innuendos, and other comments would cease.

Does a new member of the team have a past that the other member wasn't aware of?
 
Why are you owed an answer for some unpublicly asked question?

What a place filled with gossiping backstabbing hating keyboard jockies.

I think people will be cool when they know for sure. People match up based on info that is given. People want to know your gender, your age, what you've won, what you ate for breakfast. I think it's ok to want to know this stuff. I take issue when someone lies or goes out of their way to mislead people. this doesn't make people a hater or keyboard jokey.

I have very close friends from all walks of life. If your not out hurting people then love who are and you have nothing to ashamed of. Pulling the wool over people's eyes when you're playing pool for money doesn't sit well with some people.

The question is still out there and it has an impact on people.

I tried to post it in a way that would be as honest and straightforward as possible.

No one wants to be hustled. If I'm matching up with a girl, based on the info and her speed then the game is based on that. Now if that girl happens to be named
Bill and is a shortstop or champ who has assumed a life as another person, then anyone who plays them is part of a lie and is being hustled. Let alone someone who might have taken that person under their wing and not been made fully aware.

A lot of people want to know this, Elvicash if you can't read between the lines, I can't help you. Lots and lots of threads are out there mentioning this issue and people are confused and would like to know what is going on.

And I agree people will be totally cool when the truth is known for sure. Beyond that the level of avoidance by both parties is rather telling in and of itself.

I will play you some Tommy if you ever make it to Indianapolis, Myself I have not been to Russia. I like pool that is why I play it and read this forums. Not to find out info on people we are comfortable referring to and snickering about in the background.

I am not so good at reading between the lines so if you want to know what color my car is ask me lilke this. Is your car red elvi?

Now the question is asked and answered. That is how you ask a question of a person Tommy.

Now some questions perhaps should not be asked, Tommy how much money does your wife have in her bank account, That is really non of my business so I will not ask that question.

Perhaps if you are going to play pool with people you feel you should ask a lot of question Name/Age/Sex/Sex Orientation/what color are they actually so as to make sure they are not trying to pass as a different race. Don't forget to ask if they are a felon or not. Other questions could include do they have permission from their significant other to gamble, what time is their bedtime, is quitting winner OK and will you call fouls on yourself. Is your game going to be enhanced by drugs would you be willing to take a quick urine test, I could go on and on lots of things we could ask people.

If you guys are talking about someone who likes to play pool and seems to book more losers than winners and plays at a fairy low level why should they have to answer your questions. Such people will not be playing in the WPBA events anytime soon if ever. If you do not want to play them find someone else to play, There are a lot of players who prey on others much weaker than themselves in this game we all love so why don't we out them first the real sharks before we pick on people for some still unnamed reason which is as of yet an unasked and answered question.

If we are going to ask such questions beware where it might go as there are lot of high level players with baggage a lot of which is not mentioned but would make fun reading for people who like to demean others. Perhaps we can run off more pros, shortstops, instructors and of course the wannbes (B,C,d players) who also all have a hidden side or thing from the past.

Myself I just want to play somebody who likes the game and gives me some competition. Perhaps I will get a little better maybe run 100 one of these days. Oh I am sorry I tried to talk about pool in your unasked question thread.

The thread is about a duo of people traveling around the country. As the title of this thread is very similar to the title of another thread about the adventures of said people.

One person teaches pool, the other says she's a girl, and the teacher in the group says also the person is a woman.

The deception comes in as was discussed in another thread when a man acts like a woman, or tries to be a woman and plays pool, plays tournaments, and other things like it. If you can't see the deception there, once again, I can't help you.

Neither party wants to comment on it, but as has been said, most people don't care if someone is TS, TG, CD, or any variation of that, just be honest about it, and don't hold yourself out to be something you aren't.

They are in Indianapolis now, and you have talked with them right? Do you like being deceived?

This is not about anyone's baggage, and you wont see that. This is about outright deception. If someone who is not telling the truth about being a man or woman is run off, does that hurt AZ, heck no, it goes on.

Read any number of threads, regular posters are already posting comments in a roundabout way without actually naming the person.

First of all, don't be such a sissy. If you have something to say then just say it.
Take the oatmeal out of your mouth, don't hide behind little hints and innuendo.

If whatever you say is out of line, it won't matter if you carefully avoided naming names,
you'll get the same treatment either way.

You're obviously trying to say Gene's road buddy Rhea is a male.
Why on earth do you say that? And why on earth do you give a shit?

Seems like women in pool and especially on this forum have to put up with a lot of shit,
it seems like they're treated as either playboy models for men to drool over, or they're called
lesbians or trannies or men in disguise, or they're labelled groupies and sluts.
That's when someone isn't knocking their playing ability which is constantly.

Really, if someone feels gene or rhea hustled them, let them post in the thread and just say
"Rhea plays at ______ speed but is pretending to be a C player.
Don't get in a game with her unless you're aware of this."

If it's a hustle, it appears to be a poor one - Rhea sounds like she's losing money hand over fist.
 
I read your post twice and I'll be damned if I could find any part of a question in it.
However, if your are referring to our "resident road instructor", and his young protégé, I'd say that without meeting up with both parties, what you hear on this forum is purely conjecture and innuendo. :)

I thought their bank roll was getting bigger and bigger. Its conflicting to hear how bad they plays as their wallet grows. Sounds like a lot of stuff that isnt what it is. Probably easier to get more weight when people think youre a girl.

OK...let's say its not 100% accurate as portrayed in the thread...who cares...its got 30k views in less than 3 weeks and is entertaining to read.
