never seen that before...

So I was at the bar the other night, and couple guys walked in. One was the owner of a local resort and i know he likes betting pool, and im assuming the guy with him was "his player". Older guy 60's-70's (no offense) never seen him around, has a great shot, but weirdest pre-shot routine ive ever seen.
He would approach the table, lift the cue straight up in down in front of his right eye, with his left closed and toungue sticking out (apparently lining his shots with the "cue line"), get his hands into position, then the top half of his body would just fall onto the table bending at the waist, and take his shots, sometimes with his toungue still hanging out! he came close to running the table on me a couple times, good soft stroke, but was just human and only took 1 game out of 5, wish i could have pulled out my camera phone for a video of that routine though!

haha see dollar signs, Banks? It was at the only table in town in cascade locks, and the resort owner isnt a common sight anymore. He used to be around all the time as i hear, even backed my uncle on a few occasions, but this was the first time ive seen him around in a couple years, and they didn't look like they were trying to play money games

believe me that crossed my mind, Later i asked my uncle if he has played the guy before, and he says he used to play him back when they frequented the place, and he was about my uncles speed, and he never beats me anymore. Apparently some one taught the guy long ago thats how you line up shots, mostly ones with a lot of green, and so thats how he does it. Besides, i have a strict no gambling policy when playing pool so it wouldnt get them anywhere
