Poolhalls in Baltimore??

Magic 8 is under new ownership and is trying to do things right. Give them a shot. Hit Corner Stable for the best ribs in town after you play.

Yes. This place is pretty nice inside now, and they run a good Monday 9 ball tourney.

Do yourself a favor and go to TOP HAT billiards , just off the baltimore beltway (695). there is always action there, i dont care what time you go through the doors.

Also there is one of the best pool players that ever lived that works there (Cigar Tom Vanover) Tom played Rempe,Strickland for 50 a game even 9ball back in the 80s when they were the best players in the world and broke even with both of them after playing for very long hours!

Tom has won 9 straight Maryland all around championships also, 10 altogether!

If you want to gamble or play for fun you will find it here.

If you do want someone to hit balls with ask for Tall Paul (great guy) he will play for fun and he is a member here at AZ BILLIARDS (bmore tall paul, i think).

Go there, you will go back!

Top Hat is easily my favorite room in the state. Great place. Great Equipment. Great staff. Close to home. Love it there.

Another vote for top hat, as best pool room around!

If oyu are talking about the parkville location... that became a "Cheers" and now it is nothing.

Is parkville laurel? I don't think it is, but the laurel champions was off 95, in the back of a decent/ bigass strip mall. On 198

I took 3rd in a big women's event there in 05. It is on the internet, so it is true..)all hail hero.

Played in tonights 9 ball tournament at Magic 8 Cue Club. Owner is Trevor and he's a really nice guy. Double elimination, races are 6/4, $20 entry, 3 foul in effect. I went 2 and out but it was great visiting a new room. Equipment is in great shape and the location is in a fairly safe part of town. I highly recommend this room.

I believe tomorrow is the tourney at Big Daddy's so ill try that place again and keep my fingers crossed that it'll be open this time.
