Florida pool rooms

Thanks everyone for your kind response!

I live in Sarasota and suffer for lack of a close good room so I drive 83 miles each day down to Cape Coral and Diamond Billiards. Great "Diamond of course" tables, free pool in daytime and plenty of cheap and not so cheap action. Looking for closer options in Tampa area for cheap one pocket games
Or straight pool...

I like to find ricky the rocket...he never paid me for that one pocket and i left florida with empty pockets..lol

Nobody has seen him in years, probably in jail, Debbie retired last year, she was only one that kept track of everyone.

...and a sad note THAT is! Debbie was a GREAT reason to go to the Flamingo!

Yeah, everyone misses her, last time I saw her was at the last New Years day bash, speaking on that, Scott if you are in town on New Years day, come by for the BBQ bash, we always have a ring game going, everyone starts getting there around noon or so, I get there really early and help set up, we usually eat around 4 or so, I help serve, tons of free food, live music and good times. The lot is blocked off, so you have to park in the overflow lot for the Sushi joint, take a right on the side street just after you pass the bar & sushi joint, go down 1/2 block and you will see the lot on the left side, after you park, you just walk down the alley back towards the bar and enter through the back of the lot.:grin-square:

Love to Mike, but I'll be out in NM at that time. I'm leaving today for two months. See you when I get back! :D

Bakers on Tampa St just north of I 275 about 4 blocks. Tampa St is 1 way going south. Just use Florida Ave 4 blocks north of the interstate and turn left 2 blocks. One pocket and 9 ball. There is action and if the Filipinos, such as Efren or Jose, are in town, plenty of watching.
Fatsos is on Busch 2 blocks east of Nebraska Ave. Lots of one pocket, some 9 ball. Action tables are in the back left area by the booths. They used to have local tournaments, not sure if they still do.
I have not played in a while. Got sick. They would still know me though.
