The only issue with ad blocking add-ins, it makes the experience better for the users, but the sites are paid to run mostly by ads (including this one) and if the ads don't even show up, the free sites will run out of revenue to run. I don't use such plug-ins for this reason and it really only will have a good benefit with sites that are way aggressive with ads causing several of them to pop up in different windows (pop-unders or overs) instead of the regular in-line page ads like AZB uses. The free stream sites we are using for Mosconi cup are good examples when an ad-blocker will help you even use the site, but I don't go for blocking ALL ads.

I don't care. I'm not getting a bunch of cookies added on to my computer. No more spam e-mails from clicking on websites. Donate some money to them if it hurts your conscience. My work life is so much better going on Google and not seeing a ton of ads on the right. I love this Adblock.

The link I have should go directly to a window with the player that is streaming the right channel for the Cup stream. Try it JAM, you'll see it opens right to a streaming player.

Adblock is the triple nutz. But then, I have no conscience, lol. I support pool in many ways but when a stream is popping ads every danged minute - blocking part of the table (and many do), that's just ridiculous, tedious, and annoying as fk. The download literally takes 30 seconds to complete and is tried and true.

JAM, did you hook up your computer to your TV? That's more than triple nutz. I don't know why I waited so long to download Adblock and get an HDMI cable.

Apparently I'm going to have to live stream the Cup today cause SOMEONE is STILL in front of a bathroom mirror!!! Women... They should not be allowed in the pool world. ;)

I am watching it on my computer still. Did not hook up TV. Adblock is the nuts! :grin-square:

I have to finish this job I am on now, and I can't watch it with sound. So I have the Mosconi Cup video up on the right-hand side of my monitor with no sound. LOL :o

At least I can watch it. ;)
 
Thank goodness fat Albert has saved us some seats. Apparently they're on the Euro side, to the right of your camera view, halfway up. I'm dressed in an optimistic black dress shirt, with embroidery that says "WAKE THE F UP USA!"

I'm bringing a straw and have 100 rounds of spitballs.
 
Well I will say I dont have any issues with any other stream,,ever!!

But this one is a night mare!!! I have never seen from opening one page where you get 5-6 windows opening for ADS for different things.

I found the monsconi cup link. Then it gives a option of link-#1,2,3 or 4.

They all open a blank window where the stream should be,,but is blank. And I get the AD pages with each.

And the AD pages have videos running ,,with sound. LMAO So 3 pages are open with video overlapping each other!!!

I dont want to watch this that bad,,,,it pissed me off. Im done!!!!

And BTW,,,I tried to install the add block listed by someone. I cant even do that!!! LMAO

Must not be my day!!! I get a window showing all about it,,,but nowhere do I see a button to install it.
Unless I need google chrome first,,,I see where it says that,,but who knows?

Im not changing my PC completely to watch a stream!!!

I have firefox on a home PC. It works for everything else ,,,as is. I don't see why this is so f-ing difficult.

The issue is not really with the stream, it's the fact that to watch it in the US we have to find some shady site that re-broadcasts the stream, and those sites are pretty aggressive with their ads. I'm sure if we could just purchase the stream in the US, it would run full screen in HD with no ads. But they don't want our money so free it is.

It's funny how hard it can be to actually PAY for something you want to do at times. Here, take my money so I can watch this. No, sorry, none for you, but if you look around you can get it for free without paying. Yep, makes sense to me.

I just followed your steps and I am amazed.
The same links went through without a hitch,,,,,,no windows,,or Ads anywhere.
The video opened immediately and is crystal clear.

Good! Thank JAM though as much as me :) I found the direct link to the stream which works great, but she is the one that first started suggesting to install the ad blocker to actually see the window properly. Or all of those ads just cover the screen and you can't get to the stream itself.

I was messing around so much trying to get this to work I really didnt pay attention to who all was giving me help. Thanks to ALL!!!!

I was so frustrated I am surprised I hung in there trying.lol Was very close to walking away.:thumbup:
