Funny pic/gif thread...

Here's how I load an image. There are probably many different ways, but this works for me...

If you right click on the image, you'll see a "save as". I choose to save my stuff in "Documents".

When you post, go to the bottom of the page to "manage attachments". Click on "Choose file", and it should open up your documents page. Double click on the document, i.e. photo, you wish to insert into your post.

Place your blinking cursor where you wish to place the image. Open up the "paper clip" icon at the top of your dialog box. Double click on the attachment. Go to "preview" post and viola, there's your image.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate it. I will give it a whirl the next time.

I take it that takes care of one thing if you download the pic to your desk top or a folder.
Can you actually hot link to a picture on a web site without down loading it.

I could do no better than you with the truck image than merely give a link to the page on which it resides.

Give the other a shot. It sounds really complicated, but once you do it, it's a snap. Also, once you've posted your image to the forum, you may delete it from your documents or folder, or whatever...

The worst that can happen is when you click on "preview post", you don't get an image, so give it another try. Perhaps someone else can "splain" it better than I. Oh, g'wan, give it a shot!!!

Moose Jaw is a small city 45 miles away from me. Its where the Canadian Aerobatic Team, The Snowbirds are stationed.

No chance of this guy getting robbed. We don't get to carry guns so this may be the next best thing.

Dave, tell me how to do it please.
