Ozzy has been named the new Manager of Cue Sports International (CSI).Ozzy is a friend and a stand up guy. He has done an excellent job running the Action Pool Tour (APT). Ozzy deserves this opportunity and I wish him all the luck. Ozzy will be working directly under CEO Mark Griffin.

Well Mark can really pick'em. Ozzy has done a great job with this tour.

Congrats and good job ManfromOz... I'm guessing this means you're moving.
If so, that's a bummer. Best of luck though.
 
So.......who will be running the APT? I see the first event is posted, but still waiting to see what the rest of the season will look like...:smile: Congrats!!

I don't know Ozzy, but I've known Mark and he don't hire bad people.:smile:

Ozzy will still be running the APT and Steven Quan will be the new Tournament Director.

Wedge, thank you very much for the kind words. I must admit that I was surprised when I logged on tonight and saw a thread with my name in the title. I knew instantly that it was either really good or really, really bad!

I am honored to have been selected by Mark to join CSI and eventually become his replacement. Mark and I share an optimistic belief that pool can be great in this country if the right moves are made by the right people. I can't wait to get started!

PS: The APT will continue as strong as ever. My right hand man, Steven Quan, does everything anyway while I play and have a good time!:wink:

your sincerity towards our wonderful sport coupled with a great work ethic, outstanding

now a great opportunity to work with a remarkable fellow who's sole goal is to better pool. have to believe you'll be a powerful addition to Mark's team

Great move for a friend and opponent. Pool will improve. Hey Oz, maybe you can get my team reinstated at the Q. Don't worry about the $25 you owe me, I want to tell everyone you left owing me money...lol

Thanks everyone for the compliments that I'm not quite sure I deserve. I'm really looking forward to this new opportunity to work in an industry that truly is my passion.

My right hand man, Steven Quan, will be the new TD for the APT and I will administratively run the tour from a distance. So keep showing up and be just as great toward Steven as you have toward me. Who knows, I may just make a surprise appearance with some heavy hitters one weekend!
