What is the thickness of the Leather ?
Is it one-piece or several layers glued together ?

I have one almost Identical to yours that was custom made for me 10+ yrs. ago
and wouldn't take $30.00 for it. Your price is well within reason.

Sounds really heavy for a bridge head.

The brige head doesn't weigh that much, leather thickness is indirectly expressed by an ounces per square foot method. So this leather is 12oz per square foot. 12oz is thick, sturdy leather!
