TAR Website Down?

yup.

I seem to recall Justin mentioning something about doing some back end stuff with the site, tho I can't recall the specifics. This is no doubt related.

He'll have it fixed soon, I expect.

On the Tar facebook page he said they're moving to a new server so it would be wonky for a day or two.

Wonky? Never heard that one before. What does it mean? Johnnyt

Unpredictable is a good synonym.

The TAR site will be up and down as they get it moved to a new server and get it configured and all that.

I'm terrible at knowing how to do all this stuff so its taking longer than it should.

The story is that the new site is getting a lot more traffic which tripped a switch at the host and they shut down the site for using too many "processes" whatever the hell that is. So after several hours on the phone and some emails I find out what I need to upgrade to.

So wait a day for that to go down. Only to find out thats not what I really needed to upgrade to I needed something else. So wait for that to happen. Then find out that what I just got needs something else installed on it before I can switch the site over. Which has to be done on their end and right now there is a que for that.

So thats where I am at. Soon as the new server is set up I can transfer the site, update the nameservers and it should be good to go. I'm guessing if nothing else happens it should all be up by the weekend/Monday.

While you're at it, get going on adding more old matches we can get. Your Facebook should not be "look at this gun I shot" but "look at these new matches I encoded and put up for sale for my best pool buddies". You don't want me telling my son "remember that big guy that was streaming at Vegas? Don't be like him, he's lazy" do you now?? More matches up, pronto!

But seriously, does it take that long to get them prepped for streaming/downloading again? I have a house full of nice computers if you need some processing to be done.
