I give my word not to publish it, and will honestly reply to you regarding any influences and natures thereof.

I will state here that not a single soul has motivated me to begin this thread, nor influenced my replies within it. What I have said comes entirely from my own knowledge of past debates, and my studies of recent videos and discussions.

Though I think that your version of CTE will receive critique for a long time, not because it's bad, but because it leaves many aspects unresolved, for the analytical types, I actually expect that some aspects of it will become fundamental aspects of aiming methodologies in the future.

I don't want to take it down. I want to examine it.

The dummies usage was metaphorical, as in simplified.

Ringside circus and snake oil are derogatory, I apologize for that.

Stan please stop wasting your time/energy on someone not willing to or capable of understanding simple math and some pretty simple 'applied physics'. They won't ever put in the time to own the concept

You've put forth way to much information for some to grasp completely as they remain in disbelief that math actually rules our universe. The DVD 2 set has cleared up many of the misconception that has left people scratching their heads. Myself included (btw most of them has came from this forum). I'm so glad you rehearse the concepts and the meaning behind your vocabulary uses as much as you did on the DVD. Being a very MATH oriented individual, I for one can say (like John) this is POWERFUL information 'in the right hands'. Its not for everyone.

No matter how much you try your never going to convince EVERYONE who shows up just to speaks their mine that MATH is real. So please don't try. (Hell... some people actually believe the earth is only 5K years old despite that the MATH says otherwise.... Please don't even go there/) If it was me I'd stop selling the DVD set publicly and take it completely underground with my middle finger raised as I walk away. Charge for what your time is worth and let the rest wonder what just happened.

I'm glad you've put is info out there and am saddened to see the efforts of some.

Professionalism has it merits. Please move past this. Thx

This thread just seems to be filled with bitter people who bashes pro one because they have never put in the work. CTE works and if are patient, dedicated, and put in the work on the table it will all click. The people who says there are unresolved aspects are the same people who never put in work at the table. No matter what system you are trying to learn the necessary work is needed for it to click. Pro one is the real deal and its a hell of a foundation to build your game around.

Great! Then awaken your perception to real CTE and then you can have a proper foundation to examine why real CTE connects to a regulation table.
CTE is a visual system and there is a strong probability that the math will never be uncovered but even as I type there are efforts in place to further understand the math behind the reason that CTE does in fact connect one's aim to right angles on a. 2x1 table .

It's the math savvy folks that have the most doubts. I've a BSc.Hons from Australia's premier university. Other doubters have much higher qualifications.

Can anyone name me a single CTE proponent, ie, not one who just perceives some value in it, who has a strong math background?

I've been trying Stan, seriously. Has never clicked for me, but haven't given up. If it ever does click, I'll be on the math like a fly on poop.

Colin, can I ask something? The great Francisco Bustamante said that he uses an "aiming system". You can find the TAR video with Alex Pagulayan on youtube. In my opinion he is the best shotmaker in the world. And he plays any game including bank pool !!!! Do you think he knows the "math" that stands behind the system he uses ???

I personally have worked with engineers, doctors, lawyers, math professors, computer professionals and the list goes on. To a person they all saw, experienced and acknowledged a completely different dimension in aiming as described in CTE PRO ONE.

Fred Agnir. Cornerman on here is a HIGH LEVEL engineer who does high level cad design work for very high level companies.
 
I really feel I have to post this. I have never heard any "bad comments" on that bul....it called "shaft aiming" !!!!!! Why ???? Only bad comments on cte !!!! Even SVB claims that he aims with his CUE SHAFT !!! Where is the "math" behind this ??? Aiming 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 of the shaft to the outer ob edge !!!! Really ??? Who can do that ??? What kind of vision is required to aim 3/4 of your shaft to an ob edge ??? Guys who claim that they aim this way, are TOTALLY UNAWARE of their BODY ROTATIONS !!! They don't realise what they are doing !!!!!!!

What is easier ??? To aim 2/3 of your shaft to the ob edge or perceive a HALF BALL OFFSET between cb and ob ???????
 
Colin I don't know if you were here when someone posted the math behind ghost ball. It was a perplexing equation for those of us who are not math geeks. My thought at the time was who cares? No one other than a math geek would know if it's correct or not. You don't need the math to use GB and you don't need it to use CTE. You don't need the math to drive a nail either. No instructor puts up the equation governing GB or even simple geometry equations to explain how to play pool in the real world.

As for the claim that there is a CTE aim for every pocket. Well, the proof is in the videos for sure. I don't know how in the world any feel player is going to consistently bank multiple rails on command. I mean sure I could see if a player set up a shot and figured out all the aims for that shot. But Stan throws balls out and banks them in from any position. Hell he banked ten in a row cross side without even being able to see the rail.

I don't know how it gets any stronger than that. I would say that really strong players MIGHT be able to duplicate Stan's examples but I'd have to see it. To date NO ONE has stepped up to do it.

Look at this video and tell me that this guy is subconsciously adjusting. I don't see how he could.

Forget the math. Math governs everything so there is math here as well. But no one NEEDS the math. If I am being coached and the coach says do this then I would never ask him for the math behind the method. Physics is not being violated here. It can't be. No one needs to know the underlying perceptual, spatial, mathematical, or physics that governs this method. They only need to know how to apply the method consistently. The results are undeniable.

I am an electrical engineer specialised in informatics and I always tried to be the best that I can in every part of my life that represents a challenge for me and that fills my heart with joy.

Pool is one of those things.

In everything in my life that doesn't really go as I want it to my first assumption is that I did something wrong and not that it was represented wrong to me or that someone wanted intentionally to represnt it wrong to me/hide something from me, its just the way I am, and I think, and always will, that is the correct way of thinking because for this special subject of aiming, that I pursue for 2+ years, I always went by that moto and I think I'm now at least 5 times a player I was 2 years ago.

I pursued SEE system, 90/90, CTE, CTE/pro1, etc. Asked for help from Ekkes, Dave Segal, Stan Shuffett, Neil, Bob Nunley, Scott Rohleder, mohrt, Gerry Williams, John Barton, Panagiotis and a lot of others from this forum, sorry if I forgot someone.

I ALWAYS got an answer, sincere, and I always showed respect because its not someone others fault because I do something wrong (as I said, I always like to think that way).

I didn't have enough money to buy Stans DVD but my friend Panagiotis sent it to me (just one more evidence how good people are on this forum) and after watching the DVD I once more convinced myself that I just couldn't learn everything reading posts and watching youtube videos, because you have to understand someone who invests so much time into discovering/making stuff like this THEY DESERVE something back and YOU CAN NOT expect them to reveal everything to you just because you think they should.

EVERY one of these I mentioned (again sorry if I forgot someone) gave their time, efforts, hart and everything in their answers to me trying sincerely to help me, and guess what - THEY DID, because I listened, tried it, practiced, had more questions - asked, got my answers, practiced more, and got better.

I still have some questions, I'm still not the player I would like to be but am miles ahead of the player I used to be.

I'll ask my questions to these persons I named because I know they are sincere with what they are doing, I will get my answers and get better.

This is a path everyone needs to take because YOU can not know that what YOU are doing is the correct way to do it and YOU can not make a blunt assumption that a person whos teaching it is just wrong or has a hidden agenda because YOU don't understand it.

THIS is correct because otherwise, why would Ekkes, Dave Segal, Stan Shuffett, Neil, Bob Nunley, Scott Rohleder, mohrt, Gerry Williams, John Barton, Panagiotis and a lot of others HELP me and WASTE their time for something I DIDN'T BUY from them and FOR A NOONE from Bosnai&Herzegovina, a country that most probably most of you don't even no where its located at.

Because they care, they care about pool, they care about me, someone who is educated and humble enough to always presume he did something wrong.
