Amsterdam Billiards - The Ugly T-Shirt

Who wants it?

Well...it looks unanimous...Everyone seems to like the design but me. Since I'll never wear it, I'll send it to the first person who responds to this thread with their size that matches the size of the T-shirt and is willing to PM me their address.

If you have, or can get, a T-shirt from your home room, you could send me one in return but that is not required.

Maybe we should turn this thread into the home room T-shirt exchange thread.

I wear a large. It seems that most people wear an XL or larger these days.

XL it is...PM your address and I'll send it. Post a picture of you wearing it after you get it. Happy Holidays!!!

Yeah, I don't like it either. I buy pool shirts whenever I travel and hit the local pool room. I would not buy this one though....

I dig it! It's better then most the silly hustlin shirts that's for sure

This logo is not new. There was a painting made of this logo (not sure which came first, the painting or logo), which hung on the wall of the old Amsterdam Billiards 15+ years ago.

Yeah, this is actually a throw-back. Not only is this the old logo but this is also the old name. Amsterdam Billiard Club changed its name to Amsterdam Billiards & Bar around 2002. The painting on the wall of the original Amsterdam was there since the place opened in 1990 along with many other paintings, often by local artists.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on this painting but, as the son of two artists and the brother of one, I've always appreciated Amsterdam's long-standing tradition of displaying authentic work.
