Not sure there is anything "near" the W Hotel. There is a sports bar called The Point right across the street that's supposed to have a couple of tables, but I' don't know anything about it.

It depends what you are looking for. The closest pool room with "action" is in Arlington (which is about 25 minutes), called Rusty's on Cooper St (hwy 157).

They have a tournament on Thursdays and a few players that match up if you like.
