I picked up a old Mali the cue is quite nice simple old school beautiful wood.
The butt has a roll above the wrap the shaft rolls true apart but lifts off the table when joined to the butt.. Cue plays and feel great.
Questions
can the butt be straightened?
Is it worth it?
Ball park figure cost?
Any opinions would be appreciated..
Thanks

Straightened, no, or rather, extremely unlikely. the butt could be made
perfect - but that would require re-building it. Which typically means
also refinish and rewrap.

First off, we are not supposed to discuss prices in this section,
but I would expect more than you paid for the cue,
or could ever hope to sell it for after the work was done.

But I can understand the desire to improve a cue that has 'the magic'.

Wasn't aware of the pricing question rule in this part of the Forum.
Although I can understand why. Thanks. For the info
MCP.
