I ordered a Black Pearl from Al Bautista and want to show you the pics )
We will start from the very beginning, so for now I have only the pics of wood, that Al chose for our project.
It will be wrapless Ebony Plain Jane with Amboyna Burl handle
I will post new pics as soon as they come to me.

Dude your going to hate it ! Just sell it to me!
No his work is very beautiful I have a sick 3x3 butterfly and point one kind of the same woods and it's in my never to sell collection. Your going to be super happy with the cue and the work that he does! Can't wait to see it finished I will be watching.

im almost sure when using burl woods you can't call it plane jane, call it, jane-dressed-for church. burl and ebony always looks good.

I saw, that sir Al Bautista had already posted new pics of my cue, but I will duplicate them here, because some of you may be subscribed for this thread
Also I want to thank Al for his work on my cue. It was a pleasure to monitor the process of building step by step.
And I must point out, that Al Bautista is not only talented cuemaker, but a great person as well
