This event starts March 21st and it is already filled with 128 players.

TAR will be providing the livestream.

I wonder how many AZBers are going to this event??

I'm going to go watch but not play. I just don't have the stamina to possibly play for 3 days anymore.

is TAR doing the amateur and the PRO? Also, you should do something special for Justin, unless I am wrong this is the first time TAR is leaving the state of NV to do a stream since locating the TAR studio THERE!

I believe both events will be going on simultaneously.

I'm not sure if TAR is doing both events. Would have to set up in different parts of the pool room I assume, unless they moved one 7 foot next to a 9 foot. I've never seen that done before but I guess it could happen.

Wish I could go but I can't. Its spring break for south florida school kids that week and I have other commitments with my family. This always seems to happen lol. The best amateur event of the year for march 2014 and they announce it in Jan 2014, far too late for us working joes that have to plan out time off way in advance to make it happen. If it wasn't spring break I would have moved heaven and earth at work to find a way to get out to Denver for this. C'est la vie

Thanks JoeyA. If this tourny had announced itself last fall, not only would I have come, but for sure I would have recruited 2-3 other Miami players to come with me.
 
I'm not sure exactly what thread it was in but this tournament was announced with dates back in October. It was just the location in Colorado that had not been finalized

I will be the only guy with a black cue case and the POW-MIA logo on it.
I have these not so white light bulbs in the bathroom. They're really kind of yellow looking, so most of the time, I think I still have blonde hair. People keep telling me that's not so but it's hard for me to believe that I have gray hair since that's not what I see in the mirror or the mirror of my mind.

I'll probably be the only guy with a home made magnetic chalk holder. :D

AZB has some AZB patches that you can peel and stick to your cue case, forehead or bottle of water, just in case you want to go that route.

Look forward to seeing all of you, since this is my first trip to play pool in Colorado.

Yes, the pro event was. On Nick Varners website. The amateur side was not. It may have came more out of spite.
 
JoeyA-if you have a black case that will eliminate 20 people and leave only a 100 or so to look at. Even with the patch it will be hard. It's possible since i am a regular there to have you and other AZB members paged.
