Pics of my new Diamond Professional 9' table installation - thanks Donny!

Thank you for the post......what is that nice tele plugged into?

That's a Fender Champion 600 tube amp with vintage Champ mods and a 6" Weber. Sweet, low-volume distortion, but absolutely
no headroom.

Nice table and a great job with the pics.

Any chance we can see more of how the light was constructed or put together. Where is the transformer on the top? How did you fasten the lights to the plywood?

Plagiarism is the highest form of flattery.:D

The transformer is near the wall outlet. Didn't want the bulk in the fixture, or the AC power cord going down the wires. Voltage drop over 20 feet of wire takes the 12 VDC down to about 10.5. I'm gonna have an electrician give me power on the ceiling to cut the DC run to about 5 feet.

The LED strips are adhesive backed, and stuck to the thin 1/8" thick piece of plywood that covers the top of the light. The adhesive sucks, so will be gluing them down with some CA gel probably.

I'll post a full write-up of the light in a week or so once I'm done and happy with it.

First, I would like to say stay down on your break. Don't Jump up.
Beautiful table. I hope you have many great hours of fun.

Great job.

Regarding the LED strips, I just got a bunch of different types in the mail myself and am fooling around with them. Home Depot has a 4x8 panel of sheet stock that is about 1/8" thick, and has a bright white plastic coating on it. Its maybe $15. That would probably make a really good top surface of the light box. It is very smooth, so the 3M adhesive tape will stick better, and, the bright white surface will reflect the light better.

Yeah, that surface would help the adhesive stick for sure, but I don't think reflectiveness is an issue, as no light hits the surface the strips are stuck to.

nice pics...i used to set up tables myself for a local pool room when it was around about 20 years ago, brought back memories,we did some of the things like they did,but some of the things they did scare me,but i am sure they do it all the time and know what they are doing. It is fun to set them up. We were setting up Olhausens ,that werent nearly as good of a table and didnt have all the levelers like these diamonds do,i wish they would have. We could take one out of the box,put it together and level it in about 3 hours, just 2 of us. We did do our pockets like they do,hell we might have been some of the first to do them like that,it does hide the relief cut done on the felt and looks really clean. I would like to set one up one time to see if i could still do it,we did some crazy table jobs man, carrying the slate up 3 flites of stairs into college dorms, fun stuff...lol

Ron, Glad you like your table and happy with the service. Thanks for your hospitality and I appreciate your business.
