Google Glass: When will a pro play a perfect game wearing one?

My prediction is that it will happen on 1/30/16 in Round 5 of the 2016 Derby City Classic 9-ball on Table 20.

Watch now that you said it, you may be right!:) A perfect game caught from that perspective would be cool in 3D.

Having the camera in the middle of the glasses makes a lot more sense to me , it would give you the same picture and not be right in the way.

Wouldn't be surprised if Earl was the first to start wearing them :D The magnifying glass didn't do justice

Jason Belmonte

It has already happened in bowling, when will it happen in pool? Somebody should wear one in the next Mosconi Cup!

As a serious bowler 45 years ago, I appreciate what Jason is doing.

The camera is not designed to help his game. He wanted to record what the bowler sees as he delivers the ball, and it turned out to be a perfect game! So it was more for spectators to get a unique view...imagine!...doing something to help promote the game!

By the way, Jason takes a lot of crap for bowling with two hands, as if it were somehow against the rules. It's the old school champs that can't beat him who do most of the complaining.

His method produces perhaps the most powerful strike ball in the history of the game. He also has a great attitude...like Efren, he can smile when he makes a poor shot and when he loses.

I used to bowl too, quit about 15+ years ago. It does not look like he puts his thumb in the ball. I have never seen anyone bowl quite like him before.

It's not quite the same, but Max Eberle recorded a 14.1 run while wearing a head-camera. It made me dizzy trying to watch it.

Max Eberle did a headcam video ( I think it was playing 10-ball). But it's actually very distracting because you never really see the his-eyes view...but you do see the room whirling around, etc as he moves from shot to shot.

Looks like the GoogleGlass gets you closer to reality, but in a game of millimeters like pool, close just doesn't cut it.

I'd like to see someone do it though. Best would be a player who gets their chin all the way down on the cue.

66 Ball run. Prepare to be nauseous. :)

I always chuckle at that phrase. Without being completely off my nut, how can I be any closer to reality than I already am?
