You both get "cred" from supporters on each side. Good for you both in stepping up.
Sorry, but no. Lou is supposed to be the dead nuts favorite. Everyone who knows him that I have spoken with believes the ONLY way he would agree to take this is if he believes he is absolutely stealing. Sorry if someone thinks they are stealing then they don't get credit for stepping up to gamble. Those of us who gamble at pool understand this. Maybe some of you who are not into that aspect of the pool culture will understand it.
That would be like saying someone is brave for betting $10,000 on a fixed horse race after getting info on the sure winner. That's not brave, it's theft.
You haven't even played yet and you already come across as a sore winner/loser. You are attempting to justify in advance that no matter what happens, you are awesome, and Lou is a bum.
I am awesome, in the eyes of my little girl, she says it often. But anyway this is your view not mine. You have misunderstood what I said. I have said that the journey so far is worth far more than the money. I wouldn't trade it and would not have met so many great folks through it. So even if I lose I am already a better person and a much better player than when I started. If Lou wins then Lou doesn't change in my opinion...Lou is Lou as the saying goes.
I didn't say it bothers me so much. I disagreed with what you wrote, and noted that you are repeating yourself endlessly. In numerous threads, certainly not only this one.
You disagreed with what? That I feel like a winner regardless of the final score? The sentiment that you addressed was actually ONLY expressed in the past couple days AFTER my trip to DCC and St. Louis where I had a great time playing one hole and meeting a bunch of great people.
I have made a grand total of one post on the matter (2 if you count this reply). If by your standards my one post "bothers me" so much, you must have had several heart attacks by now.
It's not the quantity it's the quality of your post. Which was effectively none. Again no one has forced you Clockwork Orange style to open this thread and read any of the posts. Do you stand around parties where fifty conversations are going and listen to the ones who annoy you and butt in to berate the speaker? I am guessing you don't. I am pretty sure you just walk away and find someone you find more interesting to listen and talk to.
I never said or even implied that you did. Strange comment.
Yes, you actually did because by saying I repeat myself endlessly it shows that you haven't really been paying attention. This thread is about one pocket strategy not the match. SJD brought the match and Lou into it and I addressed his comments with my NEW insight of being a winner either way. Which, to repeat, I am.
