I have been here for three days training. This man is a national treasure when it comes to pool instruction.

Not only does he tell he shows. What Andi and I have witnessed these past days has been nothing short of incredible.

My game is at least one to two balls better already.

Right now I am practicing some of what I have learned on the immaculate ten footer. This is Stan's sanctuary and I am listening to Roseanne Cash on some of the best equipment built.

This has been a great journey to the big match and it's experiences like this that are worth much more than money. Stan loves pool and it is a joy to be around him. Stan is giving my road partner Andi a lesson in the training room with another perfect Diamond in it.

Tell Stan RJ says Hi. Was out his way a couple of years ago. Great teacher, and great guy :)

You are on one hell of a pool vacation pal. Ride it out and soak up Stan's knowledge like a sponge. March will be here in a few short weeks.

Does Stan have a 9ft and 10ft table at his house? Seems like a 10ft would not be the best to teach most players on. Since, most people compete on the 9ft tables.

He has both. The ten footer is his private room and the 9 footer is in the training room.

Ok enough AZB - back to training. Making these two rail side to side banks five out of ten isn't enough consistency for me...... :-)

Two balls better that is tough me to buy. Stan is tops but man that is a HUGE difference.

I played at a poolhall where he played Frank Sinatra all the time, I now appreciate Frankie a little more.

Stan is a national treasure. Enjoy and learn my friend.

It's not only the aiming. We have gone over stroke and speed and spin and strategy. Two balls is probably right just based on execution alone. Right now I have about close to 15 hours in.

If I beat him then I will spot him a ball for sure and do the set again. And if I beat him with a ball then I will give him two and do it again.

That's pretty darn strong John! I won't be surprised if you do. I don't have a dog in the fight, but I won't be surprised even a little if you run away with it. With what you've done to your game in the last 6-9 months, it's possible.

He has both. He does most of his teaching on the 9' Diamond. I don't know if he worked his magic on the 10' Diamond but RKC had fine tuned the 9'er just previous to my last visit. It played incredible.
