...is pretty tough to watch so far. We're only a half dozen racks in or so.

These guys are shooting real nervous, not getting out even with BIH
and three balls left. Just saw a straight in 9b get rattled with like
4 feet of distance from the CB to the pocket.

I'm not trying to insult the players, I couldn't do any better.
I'm just a little bummed out, I hope I didn't pay to see 50 racks
of 3-inning 9 ball.

Personally I blame the tables. HT Bellflower's tables are famously tight.
Nobody can shoot kinda fast, you gotta take dead aim on everything...
so you can't get loose and get in a rhythm.

Playing loose these guys probably look like normal pros.
But in these conditions... wince. Hope someone catches a gear.

Thanks for the update. I am surprised. I thought lee played a lot stronger. I hope the play gets better

I cant tell. The stream is horrible. Jams up every 30 seconds. Aware or aware has my TAR gone.

Having the same problem, someone from POV said it is happening on some connections, and they're looking into it.

It's very close so far, but I like Daniel's composure. Even with a tie score, according to pool trax, he's hit pocketed far fewer balls than Lee.

Mine was fine and just started chopping up, like both commentators
started speaking through oscillating fan.

h'h'hh'e'e'ee'e' j'j'j'jst ha'a''s's's to'tot'o'oo'o'o ro'l'l'l'll thi's's's's's b'al'al'all i'in'in

And the main guy who would look into it and fix it, is busy playing,
and neither commentator can see a chat and get feedback.
So ... forced to turn this off. I'm sure Biado/Hatch will make up for it.

Stream is good

The stream is good here, the play is bad. Wishing I would have never spent the $15. I quit watching it.

they are rebooting during the break..... I think the advertising is going well thus far...

they're on a break after the 1st 20 games...picture has been good for me but sound got wavy for me too about 15-20 minutes ago.

they just took it down...sounds better except for some intermittent static.

not worried about the game quality...have watched enough free POV pool to pay for this one.

Daniel's earned my $25 for the two nights.

he just changed out of his 3 piece suit...hope he feels better and makes a run. he's been coming up before his stroke is complete, maybe he'll settle in now.

I don't think this was a good idea for Lee. What little money he makes even if he wins he's going to lose 10 times that much in lost lessons. Yes I know you don't have to be a great player to be a good teacher, but a lot of people don't buy that. Another player going for the fast easy money W/O thinking about the long haul. Johnnyt

Starting with bold below is my post from a month ago..... It tilted Lee so badly that he put the bold below into his sig... Seriously, check any of his recent posts. He came on and went nuts on me, challenged me to play and I think a street fight afterwards. Then went back to all his posts and erased them.

My intention was not to upset anyone involved, but to look at other options to keep the viewers attention since this is a ppv. Maybe best of 3 races to 7 or 9 would've been best for them...

Well, they are halfway through the set and over 3 hrs in. Based on pooltrax, they are avg about .600 together up to this point with 1 bnr...

That said, I will be supporting daniel and pov for biado vs hatch tom...

Race to 30 really??? I hope you guys are playing on a bb then... Regulation tables of this caliber of play would set the over/under on a 6 hour set.... A race to 15 would've been fine for you two for a long set...

Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings... Its just hard to hold even the a true sweater's attention for this long. I have trouble watching two world champions play a set of this length. How could I possibly sit down and watch you two???

Daniel, I'm aware of what you do and I do appreciate you. Just don't forget about the viewer when making this a ppv.... I'm pretty sure jcin would have every tar match a race to 100 if it was up to him. These current tar formats were brewed up by him listening and responding to the people that actually pay for his events...

Btw, Hatch vs Biado is going to be awesome!!! Good luck in your match buddy...

race to 30 too long?

maybe 2 out of 3 races to 10?

is someone gets too far ahead the match sort of resets.

gives both the players and viewers a chance to get back into it

I've enjoyed it. The commentary is really the best thing about it. It's fun watching two "average", and I use that term loosely, because they're both exceptional players, grind it out for a thousand. This is real money posted folks, not a free roll.

Say what you want about their quality of play but this is what pool looks like when you don't have robots playing.

at home on a different connection, much better.will be home all night tomorrow for Hatch vs. Biado.

Lee is outpacing Daniel and it will likely widen....

I have had too much to do tonight to watch the stream so I really cannot comment on the play outside of the Pool Trax numbers which I am unfamiliar with...

I can however tell you that Rodney shot a .653, Corey shot a .688 and Jayson Shaw shot a .615 Accu-Stats TPA in Derby so one match doesn't always tell the story of a players speed...

How tough is the table they are playing on? I have heard tell that some of the tables there are brutal......

I also know that Lee hasn't put the hours on the practice tables of late and has been giving lessons mainly so I didn't expect him to be in top form...

Chris

The stream worked good on my PC, sucked on my iPad. Gonna stick to the PC tomorrow night. Enjoyed what I watched though. It's nice to watch two players on a stream who don't look invincible.

Congrats to Lee. Daniel looked to be picking up the pace just a little towards the end, but it was too little, too late.

The stream was just OK - a little choppy and some technical issues.

They were both very nervous at first, but Daniel struggled with pressure shots the entire time. Lee showed his snooker style and shot straight once he settled down about 2/3rds through the match.

This is why you work your way up playing for money, not just jumping up and suddenly playing for a thousand on the web on the tightest table in LA.

usual HT back room 3 7/8s .. ! Lee will do fine from this as I believe his dance card will now be easier to fill with names that are not usually in the top 10 of every event. The internet can hurt or help... depends how you use it
