How Much Time?

What are the rules: I shoot a shot and it stops on the lip. Then after a little time goes by it falls in. Is there a pro, APA, BCA rule that identifies how long? Is it when I leave the shooting area? It came up today and I didn't know what to say about it. Any experience or knowledge with this situation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm having a hard time with 78 AZBr's reading this and not one experience or answer. I thought you guys knew all this stuff? ;)

If I remember correctly the rule is five seconds. If the object ball falls before five seconds it counts and if it falls after five seconds it is spotted back as close as possible to where it was hanging.

It is a good idea to always have Michaela Tabb present to keep the piece.:wink:

It looks like the answer is 5 seconds after all balls come to rest from what I can discern from the above thread. Thanks for all responses. Michaela Tabb is always welcome. :smile:
