Have any of you played with a longer cue. A good friend that owns a pool hall and is quite tall had a custom long sue made and he loved, He's used it now for about 8 years. I had one made by the same guy about 6 years ago and I also love mine. Mine is 63" long, no wrap, burl maple butt stained dark with two shafts. Some customers that saw a picture of my cue had a cue made just kike it. I seldom have to use a bridge. The only problem is that both of my shafts warped a little bit. Because of this I quit using the long cue and bought a McDermott cue with an I shaft. I like the new cue very much but I miss the added length. I feel an option on all cues should be added length, I know Earl Strickland uses a longer cue. Not sure who else but I'm sure other players do to. How do you feel about longer cues? Shoot well.
