25 years the man has been gone, but his designs are still iconic...

From left to right...

Extremely rare 6 point cue with veneers. Cue is featured in many article and is on the color cover of the third blue book as well as in the color photo section. This cue was ordered new by my partner Mark and he waited a long time for this cue and got it in 1988, the year Gus passed, and played pool with it for many years. He has his notes and letters to and from Gus. No better provenance on an all original cue.

Rosewood barbell cue we recently sold. Fanciest non-pointed rosewood cue known. All original pristine condition, had an all original Fellini, receipt and perfect.

Gus' last personal 8 point cue. Its on the website and I will show it in more detail later....

Gus Szamboti older 3/8 flat faced cue.

Two Barry Szamboti's, fancy, early, and full of ivory.

Enjoy...

Szam!

Szamboti = Master Class! Thank you Joe for showing all of the cue lovers.

Absolutely love that simple one with the green veneers, fourth one in. That is basically my dream cue. Killer collection.

One of the top group of cues I've ever seen on this forum. Maybe the top. Indescribable.

Chris,
I appreciate the kind words, but I am only the photographer. Although technically I have owned many cues, I have resisted the temptation to be interviewed for the next season of Hoarders..lol

What I think is really impressive was Gus' ability to blend a few styles and always achieve something that was unique for its time. He had a keen eye for proportional correctness, which helps the cue design flow.

JV (---being a cue dealer is like being a drug dealer... very important that you do not become a user... :)
