Trending lately are group selfies, as Ellen DeGeneres did at this year's Academy Awards. It broke the Twitter website because of how many hits came in at the same time to view the group selfie.

Please try to get a group selfie at the SBE this year. It would be interesting to see who can come with the best one. It has to be a selfie that is taken with one of the person's in the selfie. Their hands must be holding onto the smartphone device while snapping the selfie photo.

I will offer a pool-related prize to whoever shares the best one. :)

On the contrary, I think it was a fine idea.

Perhaps its because the folks that are there just haven't checked in here today....I bet if you had posted this a day or two before the event, you'd already have plenty of submissions.

I'm looking forward to seeing some.

Would be cool, but I'm guessing most of the demographic here on AZ has no idea what selfies are. #flipphoneusers #whenismatlockon

I hope you're right. That would be so cool!

If they're here on AzBilliards, I'm hoping they're also technologically equipped with smartphones. :)

Time will tell . . .

For anyone who may *not* know what a group selfie is, here's one that Ellen took a few weeks ago. It shut down Twitter because of all the hits. Quite popular and has recently become a trend. It's growing in popularity.

Well, I can see this wasn't a great idea. :o

Hey JAM ... I tried to give you a greenie for this GREAT idea but was told I've already been too kind to you already---lol. A great idea and I would encourage attendees to do it and submit pics. Come on, we can't all be there but would love to see faces and names!

I'm here for the weekend and I think it's a great idea. I have a few thoughts and I'll see what/who I can get involved. :)

Hope you can do so, Sloppy Pockets. :)

I guess everyone is having a grand time and is not interested in doing a group selfie. :o

If you can do one, Sloopy Pockets, it sure would be cool!

BTW, I find it very interesting that the last Derby City Classic and this year's Super Billiards Expo has had an increase in action games. Hmm . . . :grin-square:

We still have 2 days left of SBE. Hopefully, someone will follow through!

Try some with the vendors, I love to see who is there and who is at their booth.

Wish I had see this thread yesterday. I missed a great "groupie op" when Tommy Kennedy came to a very crowded cue dealer to visit some friends. He was fresh off a thrashing he gave Archer and everybody was congratulating him. He had a million dollar smile on his face that I would have loved to seen captured with his friends in the background.

That would have been a "Kodak moment" for sure. :)

I saw a video that Jamison Neu posted with Tommy doing the juggling. There was a crowd surrounding the table. Tommy Kennedy is always so upbeat and happy. He is truly a joy to be around.

I never met the man before, but upbeat and happy would be good adjectives to describe the guy. I'll bet he's a decent person, too. Just came across that way to me.

Well, if that is a picture of you to the left, please feel free to inbox me as many as you wish to take ;)

xx

That is me to the left. :o As you can see, my 60-year-old neck is starting to raise its ugly head. :grin-square:
