As the title says. Im looking for a full set of maintanence driver pins male/female for my lathe. I have the 3 common ones right now (5/16 X 14, 5/16 x 18, 3/8 x10). Looking for all the others and if the set comes with the ones i have already that is fine too. Thank you for looking and any help you can give me. If i have to I will get them from Unique but just seeing if anything else is out there that is better or cheaper with the same quality as Unique. Thanks Michael 828 713 9032 Feel free to text me.

Go to high tower ......the best and all are centered .....can't say that from all the others .....

Tom Migliore. They aren't cheap, but I no of none better. Atlas carries the ones he makes. I don't have his number handy atm...

I bought a complete set plus two sets of carbide sanding mandrels. All perfect and should last forever..

Agreed.
His joint pins are the best out there too.
The barrel and the pilot are dead nuts.

Yup, Tom's the man.

I find it impossible to find better quality than what Tom offers. If he makes it, he makes it very, very well. You can't go wrong with his products.

His website is www.tnscues.com but unfortunately, he has let the domain lapse and it is no longer reachable.

We need to keep people like Tom in business.
Be reasonable with your calls. Imagine like you are him and someone is calling to order a cue.
Know what you want before calling.
$200 minimum for pins and mandrels would be good .

Be ready for 300 plus as a minimum. That is what my last order was. There is a substantial savings to be had and believe me when I say you don't have to worry about everything he sends being perfect, because it is.

For what you will get, he has the best prices in the world...

All true.... the main thing is the crazy quality; you won't find better than these. Plus, Tom is a cuemaker, not just another machinist selling stuff... he knows what we need.

I have never used sanding mandrals before, I was told to get two diffrent sizes. Do I need to get one set for sanding and another set for after I spray finsh for wet sanding? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

2 sets are nice but not necessary. The full size set will work fine without the smaller size.

I have two sets. The smaller set is .005 smaller. Some guys don't use them at all. The thing about having 2 is that I know the finish at my joint is going to be .005 once I use the final size arbor. That is important because the joint can be vulnerable when it comes to a finish cracking.

My OD has been all over the place to be honest at the joint, but it isn't now that I have arbors. I know now that as long as I use them, I can match up a shaft to a butt that resides anywhere in the world and it will be perfect.

They are NOT cheap, but should last you forever. Again, Tom Migliore is your man for these.

Still looking. Will the aluminum maintanence driver pins from unique hold up or do I need to pay more to get steel ones?
