That.. coming from somebody that barked at anybody and everybody from CTE to 1P wwyd pages. BET IT UP, JB! Come on over to PDX like you used to threaten and BET BET BET! You showed your @%^ so much on that stream that it should've come with an R rating. Come on, if you believe somebody wouldn't play for ten cents or ten dimes, BET! Count it out and put it on the table! After years of listening to you try to bully and act the high-roller, you came off as a mid-range league player at best. WOOF WOOF WOOF!
What were you going to do with all of the other bets you crawfished on? Send a check? You're so full of it. I can't even believe you'd come back here and start in with this nonsense after months of running your mouth. If it weren't so crazy, it would simply be sad.
Please.
#1. All you need to do to bet ten thousand or more is have it and bet it.
#2. I bet it. My own money, with the exception of letting two others have $600 worth of the action. After the match I told one of them to keep their $500 because I was in no way going to allow them to be a part of the poor play I showed up with.
#3. You can call it crawfishing i you want but the fact is I canceled the bets ON HERE for a very good reason that had nothing to do with the match. As to whomever wanted to bet at the match I simply changed my mind at the time and decided I was ok with betting the $10,000. You know the $10,000, that you wouldn't bet, and most people here wouldn't bet, and certainly most mid-level players won't bet on their own games, that Lou wouldn't bet on himself, that $10,000. That $10,000 is what I decided, actually what we decided, was enough, because we decided that we could "bet" on something else that is a sure thing rather than to risk more on a tough game.
#4. When someone says FREEZE UP the money on a no-show agreement then you had better call it if you want to get the bet down. I offered on many occassions to post the entire 10k if Lou would play some $500 or $1000 one pocket prior to the match. When I offered to double the bet after DCC I said I would post the whole amount, 20k. No reply was the answer. So let's not allow falsehoods to become truth here. I did exactly what I said I would do which was to decide at the match how much action I wanted to take. I should have taken some of the small bets from spectators but my head was in pissed-off mode right at that moment and I figured if I wasn't giving Lou more action then I wasn't going to give it to anyone else either. But in retrospect I should have gone ahead and given up the small sweats to the spectators and let Liesomemore steam about it even more that he couldn't get another penny down on the match after letting the opportunities I gave him since Derby City slip away.
#5. Do not lie. I have never barked at anyone in any WWYD threads either here or on One Pocket.org. Yes I have and will continue to offer bets if that's where the conversation goes. If you say that Ga Young Kim doesn't have a birthmark on her inner thigh in the shape of a dollar sign and I say she does and offer to bet $10,000 then you are free to take that bet if you believe you can win it. That type of pool room "betting" is way different than putting up $10,000 of your own money to play pool.
As I said before and it's true, offering to bet to settle an argument is simply a way to bring the argument to a close. Strangely enough what works PERFECTLY in the real world doesn't work here. I guess it's because on here people feel much more empowered to never shut the **** up when they are wrong. It's like they get some sort of energy from typing complete bullshit based on nothing factual and entirely made-up speculative nonsense. Damn that John Barton I got him now, boy I really will get him with this one.....doesn't matter if it's true or not watch him squirm when I say this....
Wheras in a bar two things end an argument, A. put your money where your mouth is... and B. I will punch you in the face if you don't shut up. Both of those work perfectly in social situations because people KNOW that they are in a put up or shut up moment.
Those moments don't seem to exist on AZB very much.
Lou and I had one and I put up. Therefore I don't have to shut up. I paid $10,000 to be here talking about the match Lou and I played. The one where we got on the table and battled it out. Lou gets to talk about it from his perspective and I get to talk about it from mine because we were there.
All you get to do, as always, is snipe from the sidelines.
I would play Lou again. I will try to play him again. I don't know that he will ever again have the backing but maybe, maybe even more now that people have seen his game vs. mine. I would back him against me based on the tale of the tape. But one thing is clear to me, although I did show my ass, on that we agree, I have the capacity to correct the things that are wrong with my game. I can learn from this and get better just like I learn in my case making business and always work to make better cases. To me this isn't a $10,000 loss, it was a $10,000 lesson.
Something you might not really understand unless you were able to see it from my perspective.
