Why delete the price after sale?

truth

If prices can be deleted, shouldn't we as consumers be able to talk about whether something is listed too high?

Also, sellers trying to pass off a used cue as new is annoying and expect new prices.

Your not a AZB consumer....................................................................................
By most of the remarks you make I don't think much makes you happy in less someone paid you to take a cue, you pretty much complain about everything all the time.

Pretty much like what posted above that gives the impression that every seller in the AZB wanted for sale section is not honest.

What AZer has done you wrong on any transaction or which AZer is listing used cues as new ?

The people in the wanted for sale section that have conducted there business with 100% customer satisfaction have earned it................................
Backed with there word over and over.

Just so there is no mistake the definition of the truth is where the word and deed become one.

I hear your words, I see no deeds..............

I think everyone should do what they want to do with their own threads and worry about there own business.
If anyone has a problem with that please contact AZB member Mike Hunt

I tried calling his house last night and some chick answered and said that she was Mike Hunt if I wanted her to be.

Now I'm confused. Is she Mike or was it Peter Everbehard disguising his voice to trick me into coming over there?

Well I am still waiting for Dom Poppa to provide a list of un honest sellers in the wanted for sale section that are selling used cues as new.

I remember when I first joined, I had a member ask me to remove my price and pics after a sale. I thought that was odd, as it was my thread.... Users should be able to take out the price after a sale, or feel free to leave the price up. Flippers hate it when the price is left on ads, as others have mentioned.

Does it really matter

You have no way of telling what cue actually sold for, even if asking price is not removed. JS

You guys are making much more out of this than there realy is. I've wondered how much an item went for myself. Today a poster from The color of money was sold in three minuets. The op'er took down the selling price. I've been looking for one for a wile. No need to get all crazy cause i was curious how much it sold for. As for itrader, mine shows 12, I've bought or sold over 100 items.

I to bought more items than my I-Trader shows , I understand that. But its doesnt change the fact of in the end it only the buisness of the seller and the buyer of the selling price. If you miss a sale,,,you miss it.. I had cues listed on here for sale and tire kickers would contact me about the cue and low ball my price.. Then after the cue would sell they would contact me and ask how much I sold it for, like its any of thier buisness.. If they wanted it they should have bought it. Im not on here all the time like alot of poeple so you miss things.. Whats going to happen is people will start saying if your interested contact seller for price for a serious buyer.. Because what Im getting at is there are alot of people on here that have no intentions on buying anything anyhow, regardless if they think the price is to high..

Well, maybe I am, you say the price is the business of the seller and buyer. How would you feel if i bought and paid for an item from you and after you removed the price i posted the price in a reply. Just curious.

Actually it wouldnt bother me,,your the new owner,,so it would only affect you..;) I only remove it as a favor to the buyer..Because what happends is somone buys something then goes to sell it later and list it for more than they paid for it and somone would say you only paid this amount for it when you bought it,,,why do you want more ??

No, it is like having a SOLD sign on your house without putting the price it sold for on the sign.

But of course the selling price of every house sold is eventually public knowledge. Frankly I do not understand why prices are deleted. To me it smells foul. Almost anything else you buy these days has a price history. Ebay tells you where everything is trading at. You can get invoice numbers on any car. It stops no one form buying a stock for $400 when it just traded for $395. Difference of opinion of value makes for a trade. Why are we so afraid to let everyone know what the cues trade for? Yes everyone should be allowed to make a buck or lose a buck. That is what happens in every market place. I am sure the junkie on the corner knows what crack is going for before he buys again. This is supposed to be a free and open country. We should not be hiding transaction information. This is not controlled communistic country. IF your hiding something there must be a reason and it probably is not a good one.

Wouldn't bother me. ...... You should have every right to be proud of any business trans- action you make.

Customer satisfaction should be the priority.

But regardless As soon as the money has been transferred I am closing the thread and editing out the price.
What you do is your business and I would hope you would respect my rights.
But if you want to tell every one what you paid for it, I have no problems with that.
Even if I give you a break on the price you have every right to speak the truth.

I have had several times members trying to buy cues that were already posted sold.

Its not a crowd pleaser to tell someone that they didn't read all of the thread and the cue has been sold for months.
Worst thing to do is to tell any customer bad news....... or make them feel stupid.
Closing threads the right way is important because customers don't like being wrong or confused.

I've followed suit on items sold here by me. I put sold on what ever sells.I figured I didn't want to piss anyone off .
But there are time id like to know what an item sells for not because I'm a flipper or trying to do anything negative. I just would like to know what i may have missed out on.

People should just randomly bump threads and make up their own prices claiming to be the buyer. The trouble with secrecy is accountability.
