It's a fantastic event-to me it makes no difference if they are playing for a quarter or $20,000. They are all PLAYING HARD and want to win-that's what matters.
Whatever they are paying I hope it is the perfect amount to make the players happy and just as importantly the perfect amount that will let Pat continue these great events!!

I agree. I'm enjoying it. Love the shot clock. I guess if the players came ,they're happy with the purse and structure. Johnnyt
oh don't forget all expense paid for the players.
Yeah the shot clock is great and necessary-maybe not for these players but it is necessary to establish it as a regular thing that everyone can expect every time.
The schedule part is key too. I cant say enough good about the whole thing-watching it on the 40 incher-im blind and i can ID the balls all the time. Glad they arent using Cyclop Balls.

They should pay something for overall champ. Maybe make it $600 instead of $650 payout per mth and then pay $1200 to overall champ. Looks like Daz all the way at 7-0. He just has to win 2 more out of remaining 5 to win overall. Closest is orcollo 3-4. What happened to SVB?

I agree paying something to the overall winner would be nice by knocking a touch off of each individual match just as you suggested. The rest of your post however is incorrect. SVB is the closest in score and plays Daz twice in the remaining matches, giving him a chance to personally give Daz at least two more losses. Also, Darren is at 7-1 and not 7-0. Still a very long shot for anyone except Darren to win the overall at this point though...imo. Overall standings at bottom of this post.

The more you front load the winner the more you are squeezing out the other players. If you make it more even per game then everyone feels as if they can grab their share of the cash. This isn't "Challenge of the Champions" for a reason, it is meant to keep every player involved regardless of the overall.
